Big decision

Nine years ago today I made a huge decision. After 15 years in a failed marriage, I took the plunge #2 and on a sunny Saturday took the current Mrs. Chips (Donna) to be my bride. We have now been together over 12 incredible years in all.

Best choice I ever made in my life! Publicly saying Happy Anniversary to the most wonderful, patient, loving and caring woman the Lord has ever created.

With all the negativity that we face, it is refreshing to have a ray of sunshine always shining on my shoulder! She has endured my poor health, endless hours seeing the back of my head while I do my daily battle online, crappy attitude when all goes to hell, and stays right there.

Nah, I am the lucky one, lucky to have her and lucky to still have her. She has really gone through the ringer with me...

Amidst all my faults, she stands by me.

Actually she only started playing last summer, does rather well though, very gutsy in calling raises.

We actually met in 1994 when I took over a store and she was one of my cashiers, she actually hated me back then (or so she says) She was the very 1st person I met when I arrived in Christiansburg VA. Had traveled in from the Pittsburgh area.

No special plans Jamie, we went to a nice dinner last night, I actually shut the pc down at 3pm and did not touch it again til this morning (OMG, my inbox is slammed). We spent the remainder of the evening watching movies and re-heating the leftovers from the restaraunt. .

Way to go Chips!

It is amazing what the women will put up with us! I was away (international) for the second consecutive year on our anniversary... and every night I'm on my computer. And she's still with me after 6 years of marriage.

I reckon it is what you do when you are not pulling out your hair online. Donna is the most amazing person and I can not imagine what life would be without her, nor would I.

I do admit to over-doing my work (being a workaholic by nature) and almost lost her. Since I have backed off a bit and realized what I was doing, things actually got much better. Ladies: Chips is no pleasure to live with. I can be very cranky, ignore issues that I should not, screw up more times than I care to admit. All in all, I deserve no kudos, it is Donna that has earned all the respect and honors here.

I actually read all the posts to her, (she is not one to pry into what I post up). And she wants to thank everyone that posted up the warm wishes. I hope that y'all will be on London so you can meet the most incredible woman that God created. (no I'm not trying to get lucky).
