Comp Prep Update 07/08

This morning I did hamstrings and shoulders.
As I'm doing GVT at the moment, my workout consisted of 10 sets/10 reps of prone (lying) hamstring curls and BB shoulder press.

At the end of it, I had to do 3 sets/10 reps of Pelvis Thrusts with a BB and DB Lat Raises. Needless to say, on my way walking over to the area to complete this second part of my workout holding a 20kg barbell, I vomited in my mouth a little bit. Thank goodness it was only BCAA water. Yuk.

Tonight I'll be doing some interval cardio. 6 sets of 40 second intervals as hard as possible on a spin bike with 3 minutes rest in between plus a 5 minute warm up and cool down before and after.

Tomorrow is an active rest day with a 45 minute walk at some point, then Saturday I will be doing a huge circuit which I'm looking forward to, followed by a posing class.

New supps this week include DIM and Calcium D Gluconate with 3 meals per day, a probiotic every second day 30 minutes after my last meal, and glucose disposal with my cheat meal on my high carb day.

Last weekend my cheat meal (yes, all in one sitting) consisted of:
An entire napoli style margarita pizza with kalamata olives
A family pack of crispy M&Ms
Half a family pack of regular M&Ms
Peanut Butter Tim Tams
Salted Caramel Tim Tams
King Sized Twirl Bar
King Sized Bounty Bar
Home made Tea Cake
Home Made mini muffins

This weekend will be pretty much the same but I'll be replacing the tim tams with maltesers and a small block of hazelnut cadbury chocolate. I didn't much rate the peanut butter tim tams. I thought they would be more peanut buttery. Regular tim tams are much better. Might have to get some of those.

This weekend will be 7 weeks out. Next week I'll be ordering my stage bikini. Very exciting!
