talk about drama. Had i known that OT was 4 on 4, i would have given up hope for the US after the 3rd period.
As for the overall results, after a slow start, Canada definitely showed it's a force to be reckoned with in 2014 and beyond.The Lottery Guy:

That last minute and a half of the third period aged me! Definitely one of the best games I have ever seen. The American team came to play!
My voice is a little scratchy today from all the screaming.
Overtime was almost melodramatic it was so one sided.
Overall, the Vancouver Olympics gets a near perfect score in my books. Aside from the death of the Georgian Luger and a few technical issues the games were nearly flawless. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate as much as it could have but when events are held outside, you have to accept that conditions may not be perfect.Terry - The Pokerkeep

Have to congratulate team Canada in the win. Was a helluva hockey game for sure. Too bad it did not end the way I was screaming for but as a caveat, I am a loyal Pens fan so seeing Sid the Kid win it was a consultation for me. What a decade he is starting, winning the cup last year and Olympic Gold this year. Glad he is on "my" team.
