Could someone direct me to anywhere that explains html coding? I really need to learn this and absolutely don't have a clue where to begin as it is all "greek to me". Thanks in advance!

I agree - w3 schools is great.

This is based on what i was using back in the late 90s early 00s and may not be as well thought of these days. But when i first started it was commonly used by lots of html designers. I always used Elizabeth Castro's book (an actual paperback) called:
HTML, XHTML, and CSS:

The latest edition is the 6.0. I've purchased several editions over the years.

Firstly, agreed with benthomaslee

www.w3schools.com is one of the best websites you will ever come to know.

Also, the book AmCan suggests is something I would highly recommend.

I started teaching myself HTML when I was in my early teens and everything I learnt came from that book. (BTW my background is in web developing)...
