    Default GoodBye

I have decided to go back to being an affiliate. I have met many new friends and I am happy to have met you all! I will say a few things in leaving..

    1. Casino33 is financially able to pay all bills, If anyone player of affiliate has issues, contact me, I will personally pay you if they don't, that is how confident I am.

    2. Some forum mods that I respected, Do not keep secrets or PM's hidden. One actuully went as far as to contact a software company about things I was going to do for transparency purposes. Same mod a few days later tries and sets me up. VERY lame.

    3. Another website out there claiming to help affilaites asked me some thing off the record on the phone, then taped the call without telling, Seriously wtf? You want to get on a good side for programs sio they open up to you?

    4. With all the rumors around casino33, how many of you came to me direct and asked? I have a toll free etc etc, and I have had less then 5 of you contact me. Listen, When things happen, venting on forums is great, but try contacting people also.

    5. Im my opinion if the vocal affiliates out there want to make a difference, create a "buying group". tell the programs we will bring you 350 players a month but if you mess around we will bury you. These things work, I hope the girl I am thinking of posts here for what she did last week, is the best success story I am read in a a long time.

    6. Michael, Anthony, J Todd, etc, I have enjoyed your welcome to this community, and I appreciate it.

    7. I will not be near as active, as forums are nice but take a lot of time, I will pop in once a week or so. My skype and msn will stay the same.

    8. I will be doing some give back to the community videos this month and next for some tricks I use to get players, hope you all enjoy them.

I will not be answering any other questions regarding affstorm, casino33, I feel the proper people to answer those will be Dana and Barry, the new manager.

Hope that was not to much of a bitch fest, but I had to vent. 90% of my time as an AM was very positive, and I enjoyed it, I will be going to more shows in the future, and if any of you come to CR, look me up!

Wishing all of you well, and with a sad heart, I say good bye for now, but will be back soon...

Sorry this happened to you CJ! What a bunch of backstabbing two faced folks we have in this industry! Some in authority or think they know it all have way to big of a head and are only about destrying others compiled with drama! I don't know all of the details in your case, but I've been around long enough to see way to much BS and it's truly sickening.

Best of luck to you Brian!

Thank You gamtak, my opinion exactly! I had insight to both sides and kept my mouth shut as these so called other heavyweights jumped on the rumor treadmill and then there is the affiliates that are just followers and spread the rumors instead of doing thier own diligence. If your going to post know what your talking about! Good luck Brian

Indeed, taping the call was rude and uncalled for. People in this business bitch about affiliate programs and then pull **** like that. Sorry about your luck cj, you were an amazing affiliate manager imo.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to post an update.

Thank you also for taking a few minutes and talking with me and I will be sure to contact you agin in the near future as things get settled down for you a bit....

I am more than shocked at what happened, but then again I guess we shouldn't be surprised either as there are a number of people out there who will say one thing on the surface as they do other things in the background no matter how damaging it could be.

For the person that thinks it's ok to just go ahead and record conversations and NOT disclose that fact, be warned that is certainly illegal and would break wire-tapping laws.

Sorry to hear all this, Brian I hope you remain in the industry as an AM too... you were great to work with and helped folks more than almost any other Rep.

I just can't believe all of this crap. Makes me feel a bit sad for the industry.

CJ you’re not a quitter or at least IMO. Bowled over before even given a chance and smeared not cool.

Ticks me off! Backstabbing tactics falsely accusing the innocent for the betterment of less nobler persons than you Jack beyond disgusting. This crap usual occurs when you start becoming a little too successful IMO.

Default The recording that never was

It will not take a private detective to work out who casino jack is talking about on this issue ...

It was me and i am not frightened to admit it and i will explain why ...

On Sunday he phoned me, yes he phoned me not the other way round, because he did not want to discus on skype. I never thought anything of it at the time, however, the following day i got an idea why it was by phone and not skype.

He told me what was going on and i told him quite clearly that i had to email all members of the GAU as i had no other option.

How can i not tell my members when i have an idea that there is a possible disaster about to happen?

The following day i start getting people saying i was wrong and Dana asking why i did it, there were people saying that the details should be kept amongst ourselves. Well some people can keep it private and others are responsible to tell people, i am one of them people.

Anyway, it had been stated on here there was a problem 2 days previously, how long was that to remain a secret, how was it not going to get to Brian Bailey from the moment that post was made or anyone else for that matter? If it was supposed to be a secret it was the bloody worst kept secret anyway.

Also when CJ spoke to me he told me many things and one thing was that there was hardly any links in by then so obviously the original post had worked.

I then decided that i was going to be bearing the brunt of the flack for this secret getting out when i had done nothing more than what i told CJ i was going to do.

When CJ and i spoke, upon realising the facts, i told him i had to email my members and he agreed i had no other option and knew so.

He asked me not to do it in public, however, so i agreed an email but nothing on the website. No different to posting here in private was it?

THIS WAS QUITE PLAIN AND I AM NOT STUPID HE KNEW WHAT I WAS TO DO AND DID NOT ASK ME NOT TO !!!

So as soon as i realised that it was going to be pointed out that i broke a confidence when i did not i let on that i recorded the conversation, by doing this, it would stop CJ suggesting i did.

Low and behold, there was no further comment about me breaking the confidence and going behind CJ's back.

So the fabrication that i recorded the conversation stopped any accusations that were not true.

I was clear in what i was to do and CJ was clear that i was going to do it. Just like Casinomeister had no option but to report it, neither did i.

I have no idea why CJ suddenly tried to push the blame on to me for it getting out anyway??????

It was obviously getting out before i emailed anything, of course it was.

Any way sorry CJ if you don't like what i say, however, i will not be the person to throw himself on his sword for anyone!

The bottom line i did not record the conversation and only said i did to stop any remarks being made about the conversation that were not true. Guess what?

    It worked.

Anyone that knows me will know that i have no hidden agenda, i am only prepared to help, i will not get involved in politics and never do anything to hurt anyone.

Make your own minds up, i am sure you will, however, i have nothing stopping me sleeping at night.

If i suffer for this then hey ho, it is for being a decent ethical person nothing more.

    Hi all,

I just wanted to chime in that (I think anyway) i would have been one of the 5 that CJ mentioned whom contacted him via phone and he was very upfront with me and when I returned home (to gap) based on my own conclusions, I posted that people should start taking down links ... and they'd just have to take my word for the reason being for it, ... for time being.

Apparently since then .. something has come about that has proven more encouraging since it sounds like 33 is okay. That true for Riverboat as well Jack? Personally since I've just spent a very tiring time going thru and removing links ... I won't be putting them back up any time soon, just because I've grown very cautious.

so i agreed an email but nothing on the website. No different to posting here in private was it?
A while back I was in a situation where i promised not to say anything public, but felt the information would want to be known by peers.

It was nothing really to do with finances of a specific casino, but never the less requested to stay off the public eye by my source.

so I went around and emailed my regular posters at gap, personally, plus a group whom don't show up and support me like they should (insert the smilie that gives them the "eye" here) ... but whom I still love and more to the point ... are in positions to help spread the word without going public.

Even that had its downsides but was IMHO the best way to accomplish a tough task.

    .....

here's where I'm a bit lost. Okay, not lost, perhaps confused as I am misunderstanding. But if I understand correct then Chalk, wonderful as you are ... you may have taken a path a less cautious approach may have chosen to avoid.

nothing on the website. No different to posting here in private was it?
To me, yes that's different. I know there are those who will argue with me till the day Jesus comes back that the private areas of the forums are safe, secure places to speak without worry of aff programs or whoever you're not wanting to read it ... is not a concern.

I disagree with that and always have.

if there was some sort of issue between Chalk and others about this ... perhaps there lies the discrepancy.

Some believe that yes the private area is not public, I for one, do not. *however I wasn't the one complaining. I just was trying to point out where the other's viewpoints may lie.

Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

Steve i agree, the private forums are no more private than anywhere else at times because there is always going to be someone to spill the beans.

The point i was making was that it appeared some people were trying to drop the fault at my door for this getting out, when quite clearly i was not the only person that spoke about it.

By mentioning it in the private forum as it was done and a few people mentioning things, the story was out and that's that!

Why i have to be singled out is something i do not understand, however, like i say CJ knew what i was going to do and did not ask me not to!

I would like to add that i also wish CJ luck and prosperity in the future too, meant to add that last time. I bear no grudge or ill feeling.

From a thread on casinomeister. This casino is crap and deserves to go under.

    For example:

"Note - of the numerous casinos i've played at or got phone spam for,
that's the only one calling with so much insistence to offer me bonuses."

In reference to harassing the gamblers with cold calls, I received 1 last week and 1 today from Casino33 wanting to give me a bonus as a special player. I told the lady last week to please take me off of their calling list and today I just let the machine pick up the call and the calls are coming from New Jersey!

    Thanks for explaining that shar61.

I have just read that thread over at Meisters, and if are still having issues with that, have you talked to the rep over there? To me he seemed like he was trying to be helpful.

I have personally been called from casinos before, although never by Casino33.

I too have been harrassed by a few, but those have mostly been the sportsbooks that do not understand what no is.

What they do not understand too is that - unlike any other business - they operate in a semi legal grey area with the goverments looking for reasons to shut them down or tax to death and that it is essential not to give them any. An aggressive marketing tactic like cold calls may work in the small picture but will not work in the big.

Bailey is such a complete lack of instinct that it really hurts. It doesn't matter at all if they are financially sound or not because the impression already has been created that they're in trouble and that cold calls are the reason for that. Now he has the opportunity to trash this operation and send a strong message to the rest that if you start to cold call people everyone will assume that you're desperate for money and that you'll be "outlawed" on every public forum - which would in turn heavily diminish this kind of behaviour and this would be not only an improvement for the gamblers but essential in the big picture too. But instead of that he prefers to take care of a handful of people at the detriment of everyone else...
