Sorry I disagree. A liar I a liar. And spreading rumors is crap. Chalkie seriously you must be joking. I am even more shocked by those saying was ok to do why they thought was right.
But If a program didn't pay you or
lied about a t and c you would be up in arms.
I'm done, do what you want, but your "union" is crap and garbage now. Thanks for the valuable lesson.
Sorry, but that doesn't cut it with me. Those "unseen players" are our life blood. If we aren't here to cater to them and protect them to the best of our abilities, why are we here?
And if we don't rely on our ethics to make judgment calls, what should we rely on?

Easy CJ if you can blatantly and openly let alone publicly call Chalkie a liar and say that the GAU is crap then my once high assessment of you has dramaticaly fallen
You are expecting us to believe your side of the story and are actually dissing people for doing as they believed correct and ethical. I mean wtf that all about eh???
People have been and still are put on death row because ultimately 13 people go with their ethics and what they feel is right.
WTG CHALKIE AND GAU FOR HAVING THE BOLLOX TO STAND YOUR GROUND.
Nice one Terry for backing this up. You both have my unconditional support for what its worth.
CJ lost his job , I can understand his feelings .I do not think anyone needs to be high fiving each other for a job well done .From what i see there are nothing but losers in this thread -Lost friendships .I appreciate CJ thinking of us but I bet other affiliate managers will never take this route after the fall out here.
I am really not sure how the " phone taping story " came into play , I think you watch too much James bond Paul![]()
Understandably tempers are running hot. Remember we are all on the same side here. Lets cool down before someone says something else they will regret later.

I am confused here, was it a rumor that casino33 was hurting for cash or not? If it's true which is what I thought I read, then they were fortunate to get more cash in place. But what about the flip side of the coin? What if they did fold and Paul and GAU had knowledge that they were in financial distress. I can tell you I would be pretty upset if I found out GAU sat on this information and I continued to send traffic that was never going to get paid for, let alone the players being **** on. I don't see where Paul had any choice but to do what he did considering his company's role in the industry. I count on him to look out for affiliates, and everyone should know his loyalty is to affiliates, its as simple as that. I mean really this is like asking a cop to hold your joint while you go take a **** behind the dumbster, then wondering why he gave you a ticket.
And cashflow issues only 3 months in says a lot to me and is not something I would appreciate being chalked up as a rumor just because they locked in another investor. I mean what sort of flimsy business plan did the owners have when starting up this casino? Were they just going to throw the casino up against the wall on a 3 month shoestring budget and hope it sticks?
I feel bad for you Brian and it's unfortunate what happened. But a lot of us signed up with this program only because it was you running it. Had you not warned affiliates that we were dealing with an unstable company, I think a lot of us would never work with you again so you did the right thing my friend. I know it was a sensitive situation and you still came through and put your job on the line to do the right thing which says a lot about your character.
That being said your goal was to warn affiliates and give us an opportunity to protect our business right? So being that you only told a handful of affiliates about this, how else were we to find out? I guess my point is either you were looking out for affiliates and trying to help us protect our business or you weren't. So if you weren't going to tell me directly then I had to find out from someone else, yet your mad at that person for telling other affiliates. Were you only trying to warn a select few affiliates? I guess I don't understand everything clearly.
I am going to let this rest. As u said in first post casino33 is fine if you don't get I will pay you myself.
I have issues with trust. I am not going to eegas the conversation I had with him but I had the same one with others and Noone else got confused...
But to say in a post and admit to lies is an issue
let's get back to postuve vibes. Party hard all im off
Ps I quit and did not get fired
everything that happened pushed by the side, but this "bla bla" about "i had to do it in my ethical way" is nothing else then.............."I hab to do some marketing, because now few affiliates will think I am the f.... robin hood"....and exactly this is the part where chalkies words get a little bit sick.
sorry for these straight words, but this is what it is......nothing of the things that have been done here have to do with ethical behaviour. this is nothing else then promoting his business concept........
the argumentation that CJ didn't tell you explicit NOT to do this.......come on, we are not 10 years old!
You miss a couple of things here:
I make no money from the GAU and do not ever expect to
I am not the only one to post or release information and was quite late in the day to do so anyway as i was one of the last to be contacted, so why am i the one bearing the brunt? Think about that one, i reckon a 10 year old could work it out to be honest.

yes, these are words I saw few times in my affiliatelife: "I make no money from the GAU and do not ever expect to"......I will remember you and btw. it's already now impossible to be sure about this. Sending the mail around is your prestige and you reputation, so why not say that these are also reasons and not only some kind of ethical behaviour. at same time it has some irony to use the word "ethical" while recording somebody in a phonetalk.
let me guess........it is because you are such a fighter for the affiliates? here we go again with prestige and image and and and.....I am not the only one to post or release information and was quite late in the day to do so anyway as i was one of the last to be contacted, so why am i the one bearing the brunt? Think about that one, i reckon a 10 year old could work it out to be honest.
to be honest, here is nothing really honest![]()
You need to read the facts sir and then you may realise what you are saying is utter drivel
I already explained it all and if you relate to other posts both here and elswhere you may get a fair picture
I unlike many people have no agenda whatsoever and i am getting rather tired of defending myself when i have nothing to defend.
Read all the thread, not selections then look at all the information that is around and about here and other forums, then perhaps you will be qualified to make judgements and statements.

why should other people don't know what is going on?´this is the classic no-argument-statement. why do you think that I don't know what is happening or is it just that I don't have the same opinion like you so you called it this way?
sorry, you are just showing that I am right with the theory that this is now a clear black and white story.
already done, don't worry sir. but nothing changed on my mind. you are still not robin hood in my eyes like you would like to be.<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><meta name="ProgId" content="Word.Document"><meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 12"><meta name="Originator" content="Microsoft Word 12"><link rel="File-List" href="file:///C:%5CDOKUME%7E1%5CFeda%5CLOKALE%7E1%5CTemp%5Cmsoht mlclip1%5C01%5Cclip_filelist.xml"><link rel="themeData" href="file:///C:%5CDOKUME%7E1%5CFeda%5CLOKALE%7E1%5CTemp%5Cmsoht mlclip1%5C01%5Cclip_themedata.thmx"><link rel="colorSchemeMapping" href="file:///C:%5CDOKUME%7E1%5CFeda%5CLOKALE%7E1%5CTemp%5Cmsoht mlclip1%5C01%5Cclip_colorschememapping.xml"><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:TrackMoves/> <w:TrackFormatting/> <w:HyphenationZone>21</w:HyphenationZone> <w:PunctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <woNotPromoteQF/> <w:LidThemeOther>DE</w:LidThemeOther> <w:LidThemeAsian>X-NONE</w:LidThemeAsian> <w:LidThemeComplexScript>X-NONE</w:LidThemeComplexScript> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <w

Usually the next argument would be "you don't know what's going on behind the scenes".....the alternate would be "you don't have a lot of postings"....did I missed one? sorry, but if you think this kind of arrogance in statements is impressing, you are wrong.
the point here is that you are really so full of selfconfidence that you did 100% right, but you didn't.
OK, so you are well aware of the fact's that are in the open, that is good. Yet you still think that i did wrong by recording the conversation. Read back and you will see why i said i did this, when actually i did not. All catalogued before in this thread.
I have no issue with your opinion, we are all welcome to one and your post count is not relevant. 1 post or 1 million posts, does not make the post any better and most of my posts are just general chatter anyway.
To me it is a clear story but of course it cannot be completely clear to those not involved or privy to the conversations and peoples word need to be taken or refuted. I have no problem if you refute my word, would not be the first time someone has done so and surely will not be the last, it is frustrating though when i am not a liar to be accused of lying.
The other thing i would like to ask of you is this, why call just me out when you know clearly that others have spoken about the facts too?
My actions speak volumes of me and the facts that i have posted about the GAU will clearly never allow me to make financial gain from the GAU.
I am quite perturbed at the negativity towards someone that is trying to help people, however, it will not stop me continuing to do so.
Remember the old saying "You can lead a horse to water, however, you cannot make him drink".

Man I want nothing to do with this tread or any other drama that seems to happen every other week.. But gotta chime in here and say there is no way in hell he taped that convo its not in his blood to do so. Ive told Chalkie a million times to charge for the gau or get something out of it I get 'lol I know man' answer..
Fact is hes a good guy and id bet every site and penny I have that he didnt tape it or do anything to be robin hood... And also know he is to my knowledge friends with CJ and is shocked with the whole thing.... but like every other drama its meh.. Youll have a new one in 2 weeks or so.
Although I only worked with you a short time, You would have to be one of the most BEST affiliate managers I have delt with.
As for the band wagon, Pitt Bulls, and other people that are so quick to jump in line to shoot someone down before full facts are released. GET A LIFE.
Although my partner has been in this industry 9 years and made huge mistakes himself, he has seen alot of people that are pretty good at running rumors, back stabbing people and twisting storys left right and center.
Casino Jack as a person is great, As an Affiliate Manager is the best and no matter what issues casino 33 or affstorm have run into should not reflect on someone that works there as an Affiliate Manager. Multi Billion dollar companys go bust every day and those staff are not trashed because they worked for the company.
This Casino industry is starting to be run by a bunch of Money hungry self serving assholes. I am sorry for my bad choice of words, But alot of people make me sick, Specially those that think they are all above board and well respected and yet they are nothing more than people that have been in this industry plodding along waiting for the next GOSSIP Story they can get in on.
The only site i visit now is GPWA, But it seems alot of these gossip queens are filtering through to here.
These Gossip Queens and bitching morons are going to wreck it for those that are in this industry to make a proper living, Meet Great People and most of all deal with players and affiliate managers that bring something good to this industry.
Stop shoot your mouths and put that energy into promoting your own sites, All this energy waisted on slamming people should be barred.
It is ones right to voice there opinion, but how you voice and portray your opinion shows what type of person you really are.
I know about 20 Affiliates that come here that Don't get involved with crap like this and they are somewhat more successful than alot of us that do bitch and whine.
I hope you do stay in the industry CJ and i hope a casino out there offers you one hell of a position, Those affiliates that you feel are less worthy or were quick to jump on you tell them to go ******* and i will let anyone use there Gossiping imagination as to what the stars mean above.
Casino Jack, Your one hell of a guy. Keep up the GOOD work and keep in contact.
Regards,
Jamie and also on behalf of Wayne

chalkie my opinion is about some kind of behaviour and ot about "chalkies behaviour" so it is not about "chalkie"......this is the point where I just think that a part of GAU is feeling self good and getting important. sorry, I know a bunch of people in forum are goint to hate me fot this statement, but this is always something about money or about reputation, so how you feel abbour your self....
as I told, this only MY opinion and nothing more andd I have it also about the rest of the rumors guys. it is not about one person, but you jumped in this threas and said "it was me!" and with this we get back to point of feeling self important.
Ok kept out of this because did not want to get involved in yet another forum row but when people spout off with ZERO knowledge of what is going on and decide to f**k players over because they like a certain affiliate manager then it is left up to the more homourable affiliates to step up and say a huge WELL DONE to Terry, Paul, Bryan, Steve and the others for thinking of the players.
Lads the facts will be ignored by the sheep that follow certain people no matter what they have done, it means nothing to some people if players are in danger, all that matters is that they look after a "mate"
The fact that the GAU, Casinomeister and the others decided that players interests and their hard earned money should come first is highly commendable.
The fact that Steve, Terry and the others decided without fear or favour to tell the TRUTH is also commendable.
From what i have read and what i know the facts are quite simple, the casino WAS in trouble, that is an absolute fact and so those that were told about this and by the way NOT told to keep it quiet then had a choice.
Do they allow players to continue to risk their money which could amount to thousands or do you do the ethical thing and warn players.
You chaps acted very ethically and a clear dividing line is now drawn between those that will act ethically and those that could not give a **** about players as long as they protect a mate.
For me this last week has been a FANTASTIC week in our community, the affiliates stood up and decided to protect players and other affiliates.
For too long peoples own self interestes and looking after ones mates has been far more important than respecting players and other affiliates.
I am today proud to be apart of this community with people like Terry, Paul and Steve.
Well done lads and ignore those that are having a go and please continue to protect players and the rest of us affiliates like you did this last week.

At last a voice of reason! Well done Martin for telling it how it is. For information I was just one of the sources that told Bryan ( Bailey ) there was a potential problem at Casino33.The fact that the GAU, Casinomeister and the others decided that players interests and their hard earned money should come first is highly commendable.
The fact that Steve, Terry and the others decided without fear or favour to tell the TRUTH is also commendable.
Would I do it again? Yes I would? Why?
Because I am a player as well as an affiliate. I am also very selective as to who I promote, hence I have not just been lucky I have avoided being ripped off by the likes of Grande Prive, Vegas Affiliates and others.
Many webmasters have to stand back and realise that without players we would all be out of a job in this industry. What Chalkie did, was the ONLY thing he could have done in the position that he is in.
I am not a member of the GAU and I do not intend joining the GAU in the forseeable future. Indeed I have been quite critical as to whether we as affiliates need another body representing us.
However having met Chalkie in person I regard him as an ethical webmaster, who values the interests of the players and affiliates above that of anything else. That is how it should be.
I have no interest in being flamed for stating my views here in this post. But I will say this. I have ten years experience in this industry. Five of those were working for an operator in a middle management position in Gibraltar. I have made a success of being a full time affiliate without compromising my priniciples. Those are put the player first. This is why I do not promote the majority of programs who are afforded space here on the GPWA.
Some of you need to actually reassess your priorities. Instead of attacking individuals who value the players first, perhaps you should take a leaf out of their books and follow their lead.

OnlineGamblersReview,
I don't think there was one person here who wanted to shoot Brian down. The simple fact of the matter is, we were concerned for the players and affiliates who were unaware that casino33 was possibly in financial trouble and acted in their best interests. As for the band wagon, Pitt Bulls, and other people that are so quick to jump in line to shoot someone down before full facts are released. GET A LIFE.
No one was targeting Brian. This was all about casino33 and their ability to pay players and affiliates.Casino Jack as a person is great, As an Affiliate Manager is the best and no matter what issues casino 33 or affstorm have run into should not reflect on someone that works there as an Affiliate Manager. Multi Billion dollar companys go bust every day and those staff are not trashed because they worked for the company.
Fact: Brian was the one who let the cat out of the bag. In essence, he started the rumor. These Gossip Queens and bitching morons are going to wreck it for those that are in this industry to make a proper living, Meet Great People and most of all deal with players and affiliate managers that bring something good to this industry.

Fact: Casino33/Affstorm were in financial trouble until someone stepped up with a fresh injection of cash this week. Don't you think players and affiliates had a right to know?
Fact: No one was slamming any one - we were all concerned for the players and affiliates. Show me one instance where we slammed Casino Jack.
Fact: The people being slammed here are the ones who felt compelled to release information that every player and affiliate had a right to know.
