I'm NOT gonna address or reply to anyone, but for those that are talking about protecting innocent players/affiliates with warnings please tell me what warnings you are handing out to players/affiliates about folks that you guys were 'conferencing' with in London at a VIP event?
You were living it up with known rogues and I never saw one video or anything warnings handed out to those that did not know the truth, but I did see a bunch of people accepting awards and stuff from known industry liars & rogues (where there were actual victims) that throw VIP parties and stuff of that nature.
When you start being true to 'ethics' then I'll be impressed, BUT not before.
BTW Jamie, you hit it on the head, but folks are to scared to voice an opinion for fear of getting attacked or called out for speaking up.
Carry on and don't bother replying to me because I said what I meant and meant what I said earlier and hope not to have to respond again!
/derail
Sorry Robin but I have to respond.
You are doing me and others a disservice by lumping everyone together in your post above.
I, for one, was not at the conference and made my views on it very clear. I have also been very clear and transparent about my views concerning rogue casinos and affiliates.
Anyone who knows me knows I have always done my best to put the players first. For me, it's not about getting recognition or feeling self important, it's about doing the right thing.
Why do you think it's right that a select few who had been warned personally by casino jack, or had access to the private forum thread, should be able to remove links and protect their business while the majority of affiliates were blissfully unaware of what was happening?
Do you think it's cool that a few privileged affiliates were given a heads up while the majority of your peers along with all of the potentially affected players were kept in the dark?

HEAR HEAR Terry
I was not in London also In fact I do not / have not promoted the site but I still totally and 120% agree with you and Chalkie keep up the good work.
If it wasnt for the players you guys are trying to protect this discussion wouldnt be happening, this forum wouldnt be here and I would not have the pleasure and honour of knowing all you guys and gals.
Right.
I shouldnt probably post this as it will cause a massive derailment of this thread, but I think that enough is enough.
Robyn, you are the worst possible advocate of *anything* in this industry.
You advocate God over anything else, yet you promote an industry that promotes greed and insecrurity.
You were happy when I worked for William Hill to metaphorically ***** <INAPPROPRIATE content>whilst I got your money back from the Israeli companies that ripped you off.
You then publicly slammed me for not coming back to you quick enough on an unrelated thread and publicly 'ignored' me through the tools whilst triumphantly posting 'Buh-bye'/
You were happy to share your own family videos etc whilst I was helping you but when I said something you didnt agree with, you publicly slated me and then blocked me.
Time and time again you say you are going to attend events and then when the time comes you bail out
You were responsible for the first audit of a casino and you got it massively wrong - whilst you were castigated on the forums, we msn'd and I told you that everyone makes mistakes, and we only act on the information we are given.
You have promoted rogue casinos incessantly.
When I go to these events, people tell me what they think of you, and if you *knew* what they said ot would really upset you. So its not just me.
You, unfortunately, are everything that is wrong with this industry, an internet bully who feels that they can make a point by posting irrelevant rubbish in CAPITALS and BAD SELPPING whilst hiding behind your log in.
If more people had the balls like Paul to actually put principle above money then this industry would be in a much better place. But you wouldnt know that because out of all the shits in this industry - you are the biggest. And anyone who disagrees is just siding with you because you are a big poster and as such have gravitas on this site.
And as you say yourself, I wont respond to this post - you just arent worth it until you show your true colours. And I think you are so wrapped up in this forum that you dont even realise it.
(if I offend anyone apart from Gamtrak in this post then I apologise but I think its time to weed out the chaff and make sure this forum is a place for serious affiliates and people to work on and with)
Peace out

I'm done with this topic
Oh.... but first I'd like to say that most affiliates wouldn't even need to worry about things like this if they took actions to minimise risk by:
- giving a new operator time (I use 2 years unless there are extenuating circumstances) to "bed in" before promoting them
- keeping a regular eye on Casinomeister's Rogue and Accredited lists
- using a bit of common sense when taking on new casinos.
IMO, any new casino operator, especially one on a cheap and fairly easily obtainable licence like RTG, Rival etc, needs to prove itself. If you go banging in after a few weeks, and it turns out there are issues, well who have you got to blame?
It amazes me that a lot of affiliates base their decisions on who to "promote" on big revenue incentives when logic dictates that having a happy player is worth so much more. IMO the sensible affiliate policy is to watch how players respond to a casino, get one that treats players well, send them traffic THEN talk about revenue increases if it bothers you when the casino can see your value and you can see theirs. It's a win-win.
Affiliates who promote places like Cirrus, Cool Cat and Class 1 and working with programs like Virtual (incl. Ace Revenue) and Sunny group seriously need to start reading. Without sounding too harsh, if an affiliate starts to post complaints about stats, revenues, payments at these places, I will probably laugh out loud and press the "Back" button.
And why is whether players should be told or not that a casino may be in trouble even up for discussion? CJ was totally right to let Anthony know what was happening, and he & Chalkie in turn were totally right in telling affiliates, who in turn were totally right to tell Bryan who was totally right to tell players. I've not met CJ, but chastising him for not telling enough affiliates is chirlish. He went against his employers interests to warn affiliates and subsequently players and should be applauded for that IMO.
Cheers,
Simmo!

Well so much for my good bye thread.
I gave a damn a out ayers and affiliates as is evident in my first post. Trust me chalkie you did more harm then good, so what you dud did NOT have players and affiliates best at heart, though you may think so.
So you reason about recording calls which you yourself stated you lied about does not help. Now with all these rumors you only hurt good companies..
I am involved in a project now to try and fix things permanently.
Well count me off the forum for a while. This is sad chalkie you brought yourself into my good bye to be a robinhood, when in fact you did what I asked you not to.
And one more time sir, there was noone going to get screwed over
seriously next time try and help situations instead of feeding a fire. I am saddened by this...note I never mentioned anything bad about you or gau till you started it...
Goodbye
What they of course do not consider at all are the forces outside of this world and the recent troubles with MC/Visa should at least give a hint how fast they could be out of business altogether when a couple of states decide to do a serious crackdown on online gambling...
Apologies for going off topic, but I feel a lighter touch may help. You were happy when I worked for William Hill to metaphorically *****
@TheBoyMitchell : I have to know how one 'metaphorically ******s'. It's nearly valentines day and this may be of great value!

FYI Neil, you have been on my [Ignore] list for sometime now so I don't get to read your dribble, but was contacted by others about it. Either way I won't bother taking you off ignore to read it.
I suggest you grow up as well as STFU!
Carry on!

Good luck on the affiliate sidestay in touch
Simon Eaton - Online marketing consultancy with 20 years experience
just wanted to say that this whole thing stinks to high haven in my opinion.
CJ in my opinion could have been a great AM and one of the few AM that actually knows what is it to be affiliate (unlike most other AM's that never been and don't know, but only were appointed to their job)
sorry to hear that it will no happen now
The Game Maker
Wow. Don't know how it took so long for me to see this thread. Not on too much in Feb. with the wife having her vacation and then her having another heart attack.
I want to say that I was one that removed the links as well on my sites with a short explanation on why....I was trying to do the right thing and nothing more.
That being said, I'm terribly sorry to see CJ no longer be an Affiliate Manager. Personally he has went way beyond on helping me more than any other AM to date. He not only helped with the casino33 program, but helped teach me some things I did not know pertaining to web-sites....
And I'm just a two bit affiliate that's lucky when he even sees a check at the end of the month. For that I will always be thankful and would gladly work under him as an affiliate again if possible.
Take care CJ, I wish you the best.
