New look - Please review

So after the hack last month Ive been rebuilding the Gambling ***** website and think I've finally got the basics set up. The seo is not yet 100% complete but i'm more worried about the ease of using the site. I want players to be able to find what they are looking for easily and be able to read whats going on. So a little honest feedback would be appreciated. www.gamblingwhore.com

Wow - I did a double take when the site opened! The new color and template threw me for a loop.

I like it. But I really loved the last version of the site. The colors and navigation structure were awesome! That said, I'm sure you had good reason to change it.

The new layout is good. I like your navigation structure. The home page is laid out nicely. The reviews are comprehensive and easy to follow. Overall I give it an A+.

I just spotted another very small thing on the home page you may wish to change - All the other main navigation headers say Capital "B" for the word "Bonus" except for "Free spin bonus"

Thanks for pointing out those errors guys. Sometime after working so many hours I start missing the simple stuff like capital B's and out out lol. I appreciate the feedback. Terry I don't like using the white and I liked the first draft better as well however I decided as a business I should get thing looking a bit more professional. I was reading a few common mistakes affiliates make and a couple were dark backgrounds and small print. I figured Id kill 2 birds....

That looks like a great site I personally like the approach you've taken with your navigation links at the top of the page - they make it very easy to get around, see what information you have, etc.

I like it too. It looks very professional.
I think it's great like it is, but if I had to give one suggestion it would be to add a 468x60 banner just right of your Gambling ***** logo. Yes, it does take away from the aesthetic design, but will give you a call to action on a very good spot where lots of eyeballs will see it.

The only other thing I would do is change the top bonus to say:

$AU250 Match Up Bonus

In Oz we put the $ sign in front, not behind.

Also, I know Adrian suggested a 468x60 banner on the right of the logo, but I actually think that unless the colours blend in with the logo, you will actually just be "banner farming".

I think you should grab the LOTR stuff and move it to the top, just because I think you're wasting prime real estate with the video about your site. As much as we would love to think someone will view it, I think they will see that video and go elsewhere.

The reason I'd bring the LOTR stuff to the top is because a lot of people will be searching for that in the next month and you don't want them to find your site and then leave because they didn't immediately see it.

I took Renee's advice and moved up the lotr stuff however I didn't add a banner to the top because I believe it would remove from the sites appearance. I do appreciate the input though.

Remember how I was trying to get your style stuff from the homepage into the style.css file a few weeks back?

Basically Peter is just reiterating that..

Dreamweaver puts the css stuff within the actual file, which I think is a pain in the butt.. So we should work on getting all your style stuff into the css file..

Looks clean neat and concise. I think the white on white background needs a little more contrast. I still have a blind spot from all the glare. Just a suggestion.

That's the only thing I noticed when I first hit the page was the brightness of it all.

I'm not a religious fanatic so don't take this the wrong way but purely from an objective point of view, I'm not sure I would have picked "*****" for one of my key site words.

I think this site is looking pretty good, has a lot of info, looks simple and easy to move around.

However it also looks too clean you need to do something about the background try to add something to it that makes the site pop up, try to spice it out a little bit.

Besides that I think you’ve done a good job.
