    Default Help to choose webhosting

    Hello,

please let me know your thoughts about siteground .com and inmotionhosting .com.
The StartUP plan of siteground and Launch plan of inmontion arenīt bad (I think so......)
They have data centers in Europe and the prices are acceptables.
Or may be you would offer another hosting company ?

    Regards.

I never used one of these hosting services. They are cheap but you many times those cheap packages also deliver cheap quality. Maybe for a start you can try it but keep in mind that Google also uses loading time of a page as a parameter for the SERPs.

I can't give you any advice for a webshosting at this moment. I'm renting VPS servers for my own websites and don't want to give you any wrong advice for services I didn't use in the last years.

I don't know about siteground, but inmotionhosting doesn't host gambling related material according to its terms of service.

there are many companies I have to compare and choose one of them for start, but I see that it is not easy to do )))).

    Hi,

Iīve read today in the forum that it is very possible to have problems with hosting promoting gambling, betting companies, and have found interesting posts about offshore hosting.
If someone has more experience with them, please share it here.
    Regards.

I have a few clients that have used Hetzner and they are quite happy with them. I think their experience has mostly been with dedicated servers though.

If I am not mistaken, they have servers in SA as well as Germany.

Siteground for Wordpress sites is great. I have 4 hosting providers and they are they fastest so far, at least in the US. For the UK I use godaddy as there severs are in Amsterdam, it is a nice middle ground for coverage without the need to pay for a CDN. Siteground has a built in cache plugin that even buffers sever memory. It is hard coded into the installation. Check out how fast usacasinoreviews loads and it is only because of that cache thing they set you up with. If I go with another host it will likely be them at this point.
If you like USA online casinos consider playing for real money at https://www.mobilecasinoparty.com

I have no experience with Hetzner but if Universal says that he has a few clients who are happy with the dedicated servers, the VPS will probably be okay.

If you take a VPS or dedicated you have to install everything yourself, something that requires some knowledge. And if you want a webhosting control panel like directadmin, plesk or cpanel you also need a license for that, a extra cost you have to take into account.
With normal hosting everything is done for you.

    Hello Cristiaan,

your answers are educative, you donīt say just yes or no, you explain and it is great.
Do you have any information about offshore hostings, because I saw yesterday in the forum that many affiliates had problems with hosting providers promoting gambling companies?

    Thanks for news universal4,

I have positive opinion about siteground, and Iīll email them asking if they support gambling related sites. The company is registered in Panama, but they have data centers in Chicago, Amsterdam and Singapore. I think they are a little bit "offshore".

Well, for small sites that do NOT aim at USA, some cheap hosting like hostmonster, hostgator, reseller club... should be fine. Even if they have in TOS no gambling, they are just protecting themselves against US traffic, but as long as you do not target this it should be fine.

Yes, the ping to Europe is not great, but for simple WP page who cares.

For high-end solutions without any restrictions I can only recommend http://www.dmcahosting.com/ but their servers start at 200E/month. However the service is dedicated and they can and will work to find solution and set up the server for your needs. However you must be able to say what exactly you want.

    Don't forget about email folks.

Where will the mail be hosted, and what ip or subnet (at least to a class c) where the mail be sent from?

The reason this is important? If your mail domains end up sitting on an ip that is blaclisted at some of the larger (or more than a few of the smaller) black list hosts you will have trouble sending and receiving mail.

You can lookup ip's at many places to see if they are currenlt blacklisted, just google for sites to perform the searches. I use MXToolbox or the pro services at DNSStufff frequently. Most of the better blacklist search tools will check 80-95 of the most common lists.

Almost ALL of the large email providers parse some of the blacklist lists before accepting email. Some providers use a weighting system and ignore ip's on x number of lists and some just parse a single list and ignore any ip's on that specific list.

    Thanks for warning me.
I guess that email hosting is included in general hosting packet, and they have to monitor the safety.
For example if I have hosting contract with X company, they have to provide secure email hosting service too. Am I right ?

I've used several hosts over the years the worst was EUKHosting and the best so far is Heart Internet (mainly UK hosting companies) Alternatives are Squirrel Hosting and United Hosting, both are equally as good - all apart from EUKHost have great support.

if this is a concern for you nobody forces you to have webserver and emailserver at one place

simply point MX records of the domain anywhere you want

best service so far had google with google apps and was free even 1yr ago, now it is still quite cheap

simply you have then email with the same interface as gmail has, but on your own domain... and gmail has really good interface at least for me
