Can't be a revenue source in the US because it's still considered gambling - but frankly I wouldn't get my hopes up anyway...

I'll just reiterate what more or less everyone else has been saying - Great game but you'll not retire on the affiliate income.

I've had a Mahjong site for about 3 years and although it's easy to get registrations, conversions are practically non-existant. The site is still online and generating registrations but I've all but given up on it.

I'm in the same boat with Backgammon too although the site I have isn't as popular as the Mahjong one. I get one or two low value real money players but really not worth the effort.

How are you doing with your Rummy site? Nice domain name BTW.

Rummy is a little better than Mahjong or Backgammon. Lots of signups and a few depositors but nothing like you get with poker, casinos, etc. Again, not worth too much effort.

i posted that I have the domain, not that i actively market it. This domain is something that will make money for somebody in that realm, I have it as possible sale in the future.

I have a relatively new Mahjong site up and am curious to see if it produces revenue. So far skill games have not bowled me over with performance but I gotta believe there is some market for these hugely popular games.

    Hi All,

I have been trying with mahjong and also with no success. I hope you're right that this is the new poker.

Does the GPWA have any recommended mahjong affiliate programs so we can promote this game with confidence?

We've been trying to reach Mahjong Time but with no luck. We have the site up on ours without tags (for customer service).

There are currently two gaming properties represented by GPWA sponsors that offer Mahjong. To get the current list for sponsors offering a particular type of game, software, language support, ewallet, or accepting players from a given country, simply use the Affiliate Program Gaming Site Search Tool at https://www.gpwa.org/affiliateprogra...iateSearch.asp.

The results specifically for Mahjong are here.

    Default Mahjong

The game of Mahjong is very popular in some countries, the problem is that in these countries, the game is not played online.

I wouldn't go for Mahjong full power though

    I can't believe I haven't seen this thread before!

I actually have just started a mahjong site, and have started climbing the SERPS for a couple of keywords. I don't make money on ANY of my gambling sites yet so it looks like this will be another one to just set up and hope it grows sort-of-thing!

I am going out now but I will be returning to study this thread more closely.....

So far the mahjong site we have is very young and things haven't taken off yet, but I do believe it has potential to grow online. The Mahjong Logic group of sites is a great place to start since they are licensed.

They provide about 6 or 7 different mahjong sites to promote and some of then even have ways to earn a seat to the World Series of Mahjong which is a very good way to attract players who already play at home.

When I first began putting the site together I honestly never even heard of the game, but once I started learning the basics, I found it to be very interesting. It's kind of like a very complicated rummy but with fun tiles instead of cards. Pretty appealing if you ask me!

    Default Mahjong and Rummy

The most similar game to Mahojng, in the Rummy family is RummyO.
There is lack of information online for the Rummy O game, but if you will look into it, there are several instructions site for your best
