Let's stop arguing over avatars. The point is not the avatars at all, the point is that the actions by CAP to break into their members accounts and change avatars is VERY REVEALING of the type of character that runs that organization. It is a betrayel of trust, again. It doesn't matter if Lou apologizes, it doesn't matter if he/they stop changing people's avatars, what matters is that he/they DID do this, that should be all that is needed now (the straw that broke the camels back) for everyone to finally say 'seeya' to CAP.

Agreed. It is the spirit in which it is done. It is done with the intent of humiliating. We can all take a joke but the avatars are changed at the time of banning because the professor is angry. Who are we kidding lol. It is done with gleeful malice.

No biggie but for the next newbie who would have had his account violated, it's good to get it out there. Yes, we are free!

ps.. Michael, it wasn't a clown. It was one of the three stooges, Larry. I wonder who curley and moe are?

this is the only thing that bothers me in this silly non-sense. Plugging Absolute Slots when there is a vested interested doesn't sit well with me.

Effective Media runs the affiliate program for Ablsolute Slots. No one can lie about that. I want to state that Elliot is an excellent affiliate manager. Absolute Slots is not to blame as it is a quality casino that I can recommend. My personal opinion is that they are not allowed to speak so I take that into consideration.

    Here's what happened.
Effective Media needed a seasoned Affiliate Manager to run the Affiliate Program for Absolute Slots. Elliot was available and experienced, so they contracted him to run it for Effective Media, thus filling their obligation under their contract with Absolute Slots.
Elliot did respond later in the thread.

    You can find it here:

Make no mistake, Absolute Slots affiliate program is run by Effective Media.

Well enough is enough in my book. I have rogued CAP and they will remain blacklisted and rogued on my portals until such time that they step up to the plate - Show some honesty, transparency and start working for their members and not against them.

If anyone else has blacklisted CAP, by all means send me the link and I'll add it to my rogue page.

I really would like to know how many other programs EMG are working with? I have some pretty good ideas, but haven't tied down the loose ends yet.

It doesn't seem to be a very logical conclusion to assume that Michael has been intimidated when he virtually bore the brunt, together with J. Todd, of the reactions after exposing the CardSpike issue.

I think we have to accept the fact that CAP will continue to exist, just as GPWA and few others, as entities frequented by affiliates and affiliate programs. Michael is doing the only thing sensible under such a circumstance - to send signals to CAP that communication is more effective than confrontation.

However, the CardSpike affair is altogether a different issue. It must be clarified totally.

I thought that was all cleared up wasn't it?

A and B are not C but D and G are A, but only if C is E and only if F is H because E has nothing at all to do with T. Seemed pretty clear to me. Have I missed something?

Not all is cleared up as long as there are some players complaining about not getting their money.

I'm sure they are on that, they promised to make things right and based on history they are a reputable group - right?

Have some patience they will make everything peachy in time. Heck the avatars were just the first step, maybe some thought that was the best place to begin - have to give them credit for working so hard on that important issue. Well done guys!

From the sounds of it a lot of people had their lifes destroyed as a result of having their avatars changed, so to those people it was a very important issue. I dont think we can marginalize the relief that those who were directly affected felt when they learned that a solution to their torment had finally come to light.

Have to take our hats off to the endless hours of hard work in reaching that very important settlement - no doubt those were some pretty intense negotiations. The result no doubt makes the entire industry a better one; let us rejoice in knowing that better days are ahead.
