Against my better judgement I decided to post on CAP again earlier this afternoon and interact with Lou direct. Specifically asking him about the CARDSPIKE link and Effective Media.

The same old spiel got regurgitated and no apology was forthcoming for the clear conflict of interest highlighted in the APCW Video of Jan 23rd. Furthermore Lou denied that he or Warren had done anything wrong.

I am well and truly done there and will be advising the visitors to my portals to stay away from CAP. Until such time where they start putting their members interests first.

I saw that Webzcas - I think if Warren and Lou admitted the truth in public - every affiliate program would leave. All $2.5 million a year and lose whatever thread of credibility they still think they have with the industry.

They need affiliates and affiliate programs to survive. Affiliates aren't happy with their recent actions, and affiliate programs arent happy their are funding a competitor in CS andAS.

Daera became my new hero at cap

    Hi Lou,

I think what you wrote is quite offensive regarding my views being non-supportive of CAP. I may not exclusively support CAP, but you’ll find that most webmasters don’t. I am actually insulted. I spend most of time interacting with webmasters and affiliate managers at CAP - I even have your portal seal.

I would have to disagree with you on the point that it is distracting everyone with squabbles. If you ever wanted to see how much players, affiliates, and casino operators CARE about the ETHICS of this industry – there is no better time for an outsider, than now. If you cannot see that, I think you need to look at the recent events from another angle.

I understood your message, but I am at ends about some parts of your post. It sends a message of ethics, but we see other things continually happening. I don't need to list them - that’s counterproductive for what we are trying to achieve here - An open discussion about CAP Bannings.

So back to CAP Bannings, as I said before, most of the people on CAP don't actually exclusively visit CAP they visit GPWA and AGD and other online publications for information. We read up, discuss, and open discuss about industry happenings, issues, ethics – no matter who it is.

As you’ve said - Remain professional, positive and constructive. Discuss INDUSTRY ISSUES with an open eye (your words). Because someone doesn't have the same opinions as you on what is acceptable and not acceptable in this industry, should not mean that you can ban them - because as you said in your previous post “Remain professional, positive and constructive. Discuss INDUSTRY ISSUES with an open eye.”

When members are being banned for discussing industry issues with an open eye, and then being banned -It sends the wrong message.

The discussions I admit have snow balled into something larger – everyone wanted to know whether the things which were said about CAP were true or not – they still do.

My view, a member should not be banned for discussing industry related issues even when they are in relation to CAP, or a CAP Certified Program. Doing it – takes away transparency, and trust.

I feel your frustration Webzcas. It's hard to talk to someone that is so defensive, and who refuses to honestly take responsibility for a single thing.

It was against my better judgement to post also.

    So much for open discussions!

Webzcas and Daera, I don't think your actions were for nothing. If you follow the CAP thread
    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...on.34048.html?

you see some useful discussion going on about the banning stuff, including some constructive discussions between Michael and Prof, which was definitely not possible before Dom started this thread.

    Thanks for the heads up.

As Lou is such a professional and business focussed individual it is pleasing to see that Michael no longer has to use the clown that Lou gave him as his avatar in his fit of pique.

My 9 month old boy acts more responsible than that.

I am afraid IMO Lou by his actions and inactions over the past few months has well and truly hoisted himself onto his own petard.

I just read the thread and thrown up!
The discussions over there are constuctive only for the prof as far as rescuing his income, "his ship" (childish expression) and his grip on the industry.
Michael and Steve are obviously intimidated. No wonder that they kept they silence since returned from London.
Also see who are always thanking for the prof's BS. (turncoats)
He's not bent a bit...only tryin to save his wallet and avoid the exodus of the programmes from his "ship".
Worst case cenario would be that what the prof trying to accomplish, is that we pretend that nothing happend and business is as usual. Though for some pathetic morons who still reckon that the prof is the saviour of they business, for them, it woudn't be a problem to keep on working to further fatten the prof's wallet. Not me though...

pretend that nothing happend and business is as usual.
    That is exactly what's happening!!!

The smaller affiliates who actually care about this industry as
a whole, are the only ones not kissing (censor)!!

Turn the other cheek? That's fine, but just how many times
does one keep turning it when all it gets is another punch?

    Pathetic!!!

Right, none of these actions were discussed in London ...

I agree with you Worthy - It is appalling to see whats going on over there right now - as I said before it wouldnt be long before all of the wrong-doings were swept under the rug and labeled has having everyones best interest in postive change at heart; and as you can now see that wind of change errr non-change is quickly blowing in!

Dont expect this industry to move forward in any positive way any time soon!

So turning a blind eye to unethical behaviour is okay then? But then again perhaps you are right. Lou on his own has after all has not only made himself a laughing stock but has brought all of this upon himself.

Caruso this is all about positive change and taking things in the right direction. All that talk about years of wrong-doing doesnt matter its so yesterdays news - this is about tomorrows dollar. CAP has repented and is now discussing bannings, fake certifications. and are now changing avatars back - this industry is going to be so much better next week after everyone has had a chance to kiss and make up. I love this place.

What? Say again? Keep the drama going? What is this tabloid news? And CAP is all splendid, good, clean, and has our best interest at heart?

I suppose this thought process produces conclusions such as, the world is flat and yes Big Foot does exist. We live in the free world my dear not some dictatorship feeding us rat poison. Drama wow! Obsess over Crap, wow! Does the need of the many out weigh the needs of CAP, the one man Galaxy.

Drama, well take your CAP Ponzi scheme and stick it. Go pawn off CAP's ideology on the Black Hatters instead of morally put together folks like us. Drama

Don’t do it Michael he will burn you in the end. I and so many others need the GPWA.

Hi Professor, can you PLEASE change mojo's avatar from that cute little jailbird jumpsuit so that we don't have to read about it when she and fergie complete their new Anti-CAP articles that she is threatening to publish?

I'm glad that we are getting past this and moving on to more productive industry related things.

Hi Michael! Good to see you here.

So that's where the anger is coming from Robin. The articles?

If CAP would just state on his forum that Absolute Slots aff program is run by Effective Media, it would help tremendously. If CAP won't be transparent then it is up to the affilaites to do so.

Anti-CAP? Everything does not fit into that neat little box anymore Robin.

Faithful followers? Yeah I must agree similar to The Branch Davidian sect ran by the self proclaimed prophet David Koresh.

All you need is faith of lots of it to follow CAP's one man's vision.

DOM no need to reply, but please consider staying away from CAP. I know I am out of line for requesting, forgive me.

I think we should all be damn grateful that serious discussions are now taking place:

Also, I would like to point out, because I just discovered it, that my avatar was evidently changed to a clown. I'd like to suggest that CAP adopt a new philosophy that it is not appropriate to make avatar changes like that as part of the banning process when bannings do occur.

I mean, screw Cardspike / Absolute Slots, the CAP ownership issue and the larger picture of monumental conflicts of interests which result in an unfair playing field for all.

Screw unfair terms in casino contracts that entitle casinos like Fortune Lounge to rob players and Grand Privé to rob affiliates.

Message board avatars: ahh, now that is where it's at.

    Hugs and kisses to everyone,
