Default Programs that are terrible for you?

For me ComeOn is dreadful, negative just about every month, in fact think I have only ever got 2 or 3 payments due to being crap all the time. Tried to run a few reports as well and they don't work which has actually annoyed me now

Had the same with Bet24 years back, was sending loads of players each month but each month the players just won and won and won

So which brands just offer no results for you each month?

    Our worst programs:

    1st) Ladbrokes

    2nd) Betfair
    3rd) William Hill.

For us, we found Ladbrokes conversions and revenue to be awful, and of course, their affiliate software/awful communications were the final nail (as discussed by others in the big LB thread on here). Don't think we've ever managed to cash out on either Betfair or WH, but that might just be down to bad luck as I'm sure others will have had success with them.

32Red has never (read : not once) produced a + value player for me. We have 30 or so players with them, all of them on negative earnings for the day, week, month, lifetime.

Haha, yeah it is Not been in there for a while - it's called the Louden Tavern now and is much improved on the mess it was before. Been past it a few times this season when I've been going to games and it always looks mobbed.

Yeah that's it, directly opposite Ibrox subway. It's called the Louden as well now but there is also another Louden bar on Duke Street a wee bit away from there. The Ibrox one has had a bit of a long overdue paint job

I've done pretty well with ComeOn actually. Funny how it works out..

For me Stan James were probably the worst performing - made the decision to drop them pretty easy.

RevenueJet has never made me a single coin. I only promote them because they are one of the few worldwide facing brands, but I'll drop them as soon as I get a better offer.
#2 is Betfair, it took ages to get a sign-up from them but their communications is good.

Ladbrokes definitely top of the list for me, not that I can tell from the affiliate software but the retention rates must be awful given the FTDs delivered over time

Betfred (players avoid it like a plague)
William Hill (they have lowered my sportsbook commission on 10% for some reason withou notice, then they send me like a milion emails about giving them more exposure. I said OK, but give me a least default commission and they gave me some troll type answer :"I'm showing you are on a revenue share plan". WTF)
Betonline (Worst sign up to FTD rate)
Ladbrokes (here I can't find what is my current balance, when will I be paid, what payment method can be used, never been paid from them)
888casino (can't earn enything with them)

Yeah I think the common consensus is that it's difficult to get signups there. But in terms of player experience I think they're great, which does lead to decent deposits and retention if you do manage to get bodies through the door...

We've struggled with Bet365, and also 10Bet are a bad one in my book too, they have lots of hidden terms which make them somewhat unfriendly.

For me, in the past 12 months, the three programs that have the highest signups with none converted to real-money players are BigTimeRevenue, Deckmedia, and Vistagaming.

This is a great thread, cheers to thebookiesoffers for starting it.

The issue I found when starting out doing the affiliate thing was; I had absolutely no idea who to promote for my visitors and for getting good depositors and long term revenue for myself Basically, I just went to a few of the big "free bet" portal style sites and looked at who they were mainly promoting and started out with that. This included quite a few big brands such as Ladbrokes, Winner and others that I later removed completely from my sites. I think this thread could greatly help others who are just getting started!

Obviously, every affiliate will have hugely varying experiences with each sportsbook/casino (eg, bet365 are regularly mentioned as the best for sports conversions/revenue but one affiliate above still listed them as his/her worst) - so I guess this list isn't definitive, just what we've all come up with personally. A few programs have been mentioned more than once however.

Here's a quick rundown of who we have all mentioned so far (with votes). I mainly promote sportsbooks only, so apologies if I've incorrectly named the casino ones mentioned (i think they are casinos anyway).

    Poor Converting/Revenue Programs by Votes:
    Ladbrokes - 3
    32Red - 3
    William Hill - 2
    Betfair - 2
    Stan James - 2
    SportingBet - 2
    Betfred - 1
    SkyBet - 1
    RevenueJet - 1
    WagerWeb - 1
    10bet- 1
    BigTimeRevenue - 1
    DeckMedia - 1
    VistaGaming - 1
    Come On - 1
    bet365 - 1
    BetOnline - 1
    888Casino - 1
