Always working on new ideas, but the only method up and working right now is a bank account outside of the US.
Sounds complicated, but apparently it's not - and certainly the safest right now.

Well if you are suggesting that US Affiliates now have to all open bank accounts in other countries in order to get paid from you guys...

in my opinion that is just ludicrous....

Speaking as an affiliate, not as a player, I don't see a problem with just sending checks to us in whatever the native currency is. I get checks in pounds from 32 Red all the time. My bank just converts them on the spot, and it's no big deal. They do it in all currencies. I understand the recent and new challenges, but paying affiliates should not be a problem.

Since Brightshare is out of the U.S. for players now, all you guys are doing is paying affiliates for their NON U.S. Players, which is not an issue, IMO.

I don't think it's ludicrous really to be concerned, based on the recent developments, but the question was about U.S. AFFILIATES, and that should not be an issue on the Brightshare program. JMO

If any casino had been truly concerned none of them would have been jumping through hoops the last 5 years ... IMO many have snubbed their noses at the USA government for years. Its really sort of funny that some appear to think that now they can pretend to be doing things right and get in if the future pans out?

Jackpot Factory has been playing too many games of late and this is just another slap in the face of USA affiliates!

If you fail to recognize that Jackpot Factory / SpinSpark / Spiral Solutions / etc have been playing games of late - you're not only blind you're a complete idiot; but yah nothing new there either!

Rebbush54. Some people converse sincerely with their peers to try to solve problems within the industry, and some do little more than to generate conspiracy theories based on some sort of super weird, and over the top opinion that everyone, everything, and every business on the face of the planet should be operating within some ridiculous high line of morality and ethics that simply NEVER exsited, and never will in any kind of business or industry.

Online gambling certainly has it's challenges, but everytime there is a problem the goal should be to solve the problem, not waste time bitching like a teenager, and condemning programs that just like us,...are TRYING to Survive too. It's a tough time for everyone.

My advice to everyone is to be part of a positive solution or goal that will work, and leave the CONSTANT insults, put downs, and unsubstanciated conspiracy theories at the door.

Don't distract with bullshit, but use the intelligence and resources of the masses to fix problems.

I,..like MANY other long standing GPWA affiliates are just totally burned out this guy and Aussie Dave. All worthless, negative talk and constant insults, and never ending conspiracy theories.

I can't believe Micheal even allows this guy to be here after all the **** insults he has hurled at Micheal and the way he runs the GPWA these days. It's not the old GPWA, so get the over it, and contribute appropriately or get out. Simple. I don't always agree either, but this guy ALWAYS goes way too far and is disrepectful to all members, and Micheal in particular.

He should have been catapulted long ago along with his buddy Aussie Dave!

My post wouldn't have been made if it weren't for the typical derail comments that were made to attack me. You can clearly see who initiated the "personal" exchange - it wasn't me and it seldom is. Pretty funny that after the fact the attacker comes back and plays some sort of victim and/or someone who believes their opinions are valued more than others and that someone who speaks the other side of the coin should be "catapulted". THAT is the kind of BS thats been going on in this industry for as long as I've been in it - its NOT some sort of conspiracy theory - its a fact! After all that - look where we are today.

Back on topic - Jackpot Factory / SpinSpark / Spiral Solutions / ASUSA - (they truly are one big happy family) have had issues for quite some time ... you would have thought that after spinspark got them into a hole years ago with their SEO / ailment campaign that they would have learnt that they shouldnt be playing games - obviously they didnt take that lesson to heart!

Let's do some brain storming if we can. lol It seems that our biggest problem is NOT having a bank account outside of the USA. What if we could 'work' with a trusted international affiliate to help us with this problem? I know it may sound crazy, but I'm just throwing an idea out there.

Yesterday, I called my business manager at my bank to see if she could help me open an international account, but she did not get back to me yet so I want to give it some time as she may be researching it for me. It's a global bank so I'm hoping something will come of it.

I hate to just throw in the towel after devoting 10 years to my business. I also don't want to move from the USA. While I'm making the transistion to market to non USA players, I still need a way to get my money from for the near future.

I was asked by a few affiliates to help them get payments , I ran it by my lawyer and he said not a good idea to get involved with any USA banking tied to gambling.ie programs send me 3532 and i send you 3532 same day then i am using my acct to processs your affiliate payments.

I can understand what you are saying Judy, but I should have stated that it would be for non us players at non us servicing brands. Does Brightshare take US players? I'm not looking for a way to get around the law, I'm looking for a way to get paid on legitimate non-US players.

As long as I pay my taxes and market to non-US players then there is no harm or foul.

I was also hoping for a UK affiliate to help verses anywhere else.

I think if the programs want to continue recieving traffic from affiliates that just happen to live in the United States, THEY are going to need to come up with a payment method that works for ALL affiliates and not just the large ones.

If there is no solution for the small affiliate, then inmyopinion, the program is not good for ALL affiliates. (damn I remember hearing that somewhere before0

I completely agree Rick, but being that we ARE here and they have told us [the plan] I need to find a way to not give up NON-US players that I've had for years. If it was another brand then I would say forget about it, but I'm not gonna bend over on this one.

IMO they could give a flying you know what about what we feel they should do. lol I do know that I will NEVER forget what they are doing to us and will be able to pull them from my site when the time is right.

I did say we're always working on new ideas and ......we'll update with new developments.
But, unfortunately, the only safe method RIGHT NOW is bank wire outside of the US.

And I must say....if you always liked the BrightShare program, and felt we did right by the affiliates, I don't understand your lack of patience now. The current situation (bank accounts being seized, payment methods closing, casinos closing, etc. etc. etc.) is extremely serious and is noooooo easier on us than it is on you guys. We ARE working on solutions - but it does take time.
