Question What is your preferred method for receiving affiliate payments?

We're all in the affiliate business to earn affiliate revenue, and to be paid revenue we earn. This week I thought I would ask members what their favorite methods are for receiving payment.

Besides answering the poll question, let us know what you think of the various payment options in a post, and if you select other, let us know what other payment options you use.

I picked Moneybookers. I feel its very safe and i get huge limits. Plus it takes less than a week to get to my bank.

One thing thats not the best with Moneybookers are the fees. I usually get charged at least 25-40USD for any transfer to my bank.

I would like to see Pay Pal eventually. They are fast cheap and reliable.

    Great Poll!!

QuickTender for me, but it wasn't an option... so I picked 'Other'. I think that is one of the main payment methods (for US affiliates, anyway), so might be a good one to list.

I much prefer bank transfer for payments, main reason being not having to then transfer again back down to the bank.

With reference to Moneybookers, i am in the process of closing my account there after it was hacked and cleared out a couple of weeks ago. I know this can happen, but i am pretty safe with how i treat my details and dont take any silly risks. They are also extremely expensive and i would much prefer Paypal too, although even they charge more than i feel is fair.

I chose Moneybookers, but I use also Neteller and ECO. I am thinking of adding few more to my list.

    Default MB or C2P

I prefer to use Moneybookers and Click2pay where MB isn't an option.
Both options have proven to be stabile and withdrawals from them are processed within 24 hours (from my experience).

C2P also offer a nice credit card option something i really enjoy

I prefer bank transfer. Moneybookers used to be a fantastic option, but the fees are quite hefty. We had some discussions with them, but they treat us like an operator and charge high fees simply for receiving payments (not only for bank transfers like before).

In Canada, the fastest and simplest method is "Instadebit". I use it when and where I can.

I'm with Mojo - the payment question really varies with the physical location of the affiliate. Very few of us have the capability to open bank accounts in the UK nor a PO Box in the caribbean.

I do manage to get check payment from a couple places... wire from a few others.

I put check as my answer to the poll. I actually prefer wires - but with the higher limits or higher fees, a check is just as nice.

Now - if only everyone could figure out how to send a check or wire for US affs... and maybe leave some way to identify who sent it, that would be great too.

Like kwblue, I am in the US and selected Other since my PMOP is QuickTender. Looking back at my records over 2008, approximately 90% of the affiliate programs from which I regularly earn have QT as a payment option. Each month, commissions are paid to QT by about the 16th of the month, and then I am able to make a single withdraw from QT to my local bank account. Fees are reasonable -- $30 from QT, and then $12 from my bank for accepting the international wire transfer from QT.

I use checks from 2 affiliate programs and ASP from 1 affiliate program, but only because they do not offer QT as a PMOP.

Neteller is great for me, I use it for my own bankroll as just about every site accepts it and with the Netcard I can access my money instantly no matter where in the world I am (As long as there is an ATM) The ONLY downside to them is the charges

definitely Moneybookers...especially after Neteller raised their fees on withdrawals from $1.00 to $5.00, I really think is far too much for a cash out! So I confirm that my vote went to Moneybookers ! Happy poll guys

The options are so few for those of us who live in the US, and they also vary greatly from site to site, making things even more complicated.

Some places, I can only receive a wire transfer, and checks are so very unreliable. Mail is stolen, so we have no way of knowing whether or not payments were received.

I've received wire transfers but the bank charges make this a very poor option.

If only things would change so that we could use Neteller, Moneybookers or just about anything else again.

I'm with Steve, who suggested Paypal as an option. If only things were that simple.

All of the above (that pays to US residents). I seem to *trust* check payments more, and some sites send checks faster than echeck/bank transfers. Though eChecks/direct deposits are how I get paid in my "real life" job.
