Who's your favorite affiliate manager/s?

Just wanted to know who's your favorite affiliate manager? We just started out again and so far we don't have a favorite affiliate manager/s as yet.

This is one of those questions that could cause a lot of bitternesss and resentment. I would say I don't have a favourite, but there are a select few that I work well with and I also enjoy their company socially. They know who they are

Gotta start with Renee (Rewards) for all the obvious reasons.
Then my list would include all the AM's that make the GPWA Most Active AM list each month since they are around when we need them.

Then, I would say my favorites are:

Cobus (Referback)
Justin (Slotland)
Shelley (Brightshare)

I'm going to give an honorable mention to Marc (Europartners) for his help and patience in resolving a GAU arbitration issue.

Disclaimer:
There are many other AM's I love and respect. My apologies to those I didn't mention above. The above list is based solely on ease of communication and the amount of personal attention I receive from each of these managers.

I think that nearly all the aff managers I work with are excellent. I couldn't list them and I certainly don't have a 'favorite'

Not a fair type of thread imo some really good AM are bound to be left out unintentionally and feelings are going to be hurt. I could not imagine an AM coming and starting a thread on who is their best affiliate and why. Maybe a thread like.. describe the work habits/characteristics of your favorite affiliate manager. What are the tips you can give to affiliate managers to be the best they can be?

Anyway this is too much like picking which child you like the best I cannot do it I love them all the same

And I never have to worry about being on any of the managers favorites list....now if they start posting up the lists of their LEAST FAVORITE, my guess is I would end up on most of them....

LOL - at the end of the day, it's about business. If you establish a personal relationship then that's great but a lot of it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I've had affiliates who I get on very well with go mad at me because of something my company did one (change T&Cs) - I was yelled at etc. Once it was resolved (T&Cs reversed), affiliates were happy again and it was forgotten.

It's business at the end of the day and there is no point taking it personally. I do believe a very small percentage of people in this industry and every other industry take things personally when there is really no need.

Have to say Sarafina is one of my "favourites" - not only is she the happiest person I know - she is always smiling - she has a wonderful knowledge of the industry and is a great asset to the business.

I certently don´t like them all the same amount, guess i have had some bad managers, no names mentioned

I have favourites, and they also know who they are

All the AM’s I work with are my favorites, if they were not, I would cast them into the pit and remove the brands. There are way too many AM’s that bust their tail for us it is impossible to rate one over another, one’s weakness is another’s strength and vice-versa.
