Six Feet Under is so good, I wish I hadn't ever seen it -- so I could see it again for the first time. A wonderful drama.

I saw a couple of episodes of it a while ago, but having dexter in it was weird - I kept expecting him to go off and kill people!

    Hi Guys,

You can call me old fashion, but I really like to watch period television series such as Agatha Christie’s inspector Poirot and Miss Marple.
Also I kill for some good English comedy like only fools and horses, faulty towers, black books, QI, etc.

Anybody out there shares my taste LOL?

I can also recommend Flight of the Conchords. It's really daft but definitely makes you laugh. I also just finished watching Downton Abbey, seasons 1 and 2, and Game of Thrones. Both were great. I think Game of Thrones was HBO so it should have aired in the U.S. too. Looking forward to Game of Thrones season 2 in April

Ahh so glad to see so many breaking bad fans here wonder when season 5 is gonna start showing i'm getting quite impatient!

The last 5 days, i had to stay in bed as i fell off the stairs while carrying my little man and sprained my left shoulder and neck. As i wasn't able to move much, my partner downloaded Shameless UK for me which was pretty good that i watched about 2 seasons of it. A bit slow at first but the characters grow on you.

Anyways, i feel a lot better today and am very glad to be up and about again

Oh and there's also the US version of Shameless if you and the wife prefer that. Not sure which one's better though.

Good shout - Shameless is a great show, or at least the UK one is - haven't seen the US version...

I know what you mean about how long it's been running though - Franks pretty much the only character that's still in the show from the original cast!

Shameless is the one with the drunk father right?
I love the US version. It's such a good show. I've only watched about 3 episodes but I love it.

Yes, I liked "Breaking Bad" as well. I like science fiction kind of shows. Some of the recent ones I really like are: "Alcatraz", "Once Upon a Time", and "Walking Dead" (All time favorite).

Some of the actors are famous now especially James McAvoy but Shameless made him famous, they made a point of only casting unknowns on purpose

An Idiot Abroad- Karl Pilkington is class. If you haven't watched Ricky Gervais Podcasts w/ Steven Merchant & Karl, get on it immediately.

My favourite moment in Idiot Abroad is end of season 1 i think, where he's on mount fuji in Japan. He's recapping his adventure and all of his experiences & he goes:

"travelling is good but, eventually you'll have been everywhere in the world, and then what? You just have to go home. I'd much prefer to just be at home with a cup of tea & some biscuits. Biscuits...yea... you'll never run out of those. See what I mean?"

    Can't believe he's a real person
