I occasionally play online, mostly slots and Blackjack, making small deposits, but what I really enjoy is playing Blackjack in land-based casinos.

I have so far visited casinos in Prague, Rhodes, Corfu, Malta, Mallorca. I see it as a nice night out for me and the missus while on vacation, definitely not looking to earn money from gambling.

To understand the real meaning of gambling, try to bet on sports, events or slots you do not know and you are not totally aware of.

I'm clean for over 6 months now and wouldn't want to go back.

I used to spend my weekends getting frustrated over fantasy Premier League, losing money betting on Premier League, and then trying to win back the money on NFL on Sunday. The last part worked but I'm done with BPL, I felt awful every weekend. Glad I'm out.

I will be placing bets on NFL player props when the season starts, but with a totally different mindset that doesn't lead to addictive behavior. I don't think I'm an addictive person anymore. I can indulge myself with some fun stuff but it doesn't grab a hold of me anymore. Some people around me have to satisfy their addictions every day, I don't because I'm not addicted, I can go without for months.

In that case yes! Of course I once in a while slips in a bet or two which totally ruins my winning margins. But worth it anyway!

I voted several times a week for me, though it's probably closer to just about every day.

I used to only bet on sports (and occasionally slots for fun) but I find myself gradually leaning more towards horse racing and greyhound racing bets. Being situated in the office with all the traders and getting their tips, having the screens on showing the racing all day, every day seems to have influenced my betting.

I put a lot of NBA futures bets on and have done pretty well on those the last few years. Overall I'm a cautious gambler and if I see an opportunity to lock in a profit I'll usually take it. Have had my accounts limited and bonuses removed at most bookies now lol

I play a bit of daily fantasy sports as well, it's useful to know the product. We have Draftstars as well as several bookie brands so it pays to know how everything works, the unique selling points of each brand. If I was doing it from an affiliate side of things I'd expect it's the same way - important to know the ins and outs of what you're promoting and what is appealing about it.
