I go far beyond card counting by using card tracking and shuffle tracking techniques to better predict what cards are coming in a more advanced form of what most people look at as card counting.

I've been playing BJ for money for for 28 years now.

I played basic strategy for the first 15 years and then moved onto more advanced methods.

The casinos have teams of players who know me and come to the table and **** up my hands so I don't run it on them all the time. That's just like MJ #23 getting double teamed by the opposing basketball teams defense.

So why play when they don't give me a fair shot?
1. because i love to play
2. because i love to find ways around their security teams it feels great when you still win despite their best efforts to stop you.

Used to play poker semi-seriously which led me down the affiliate path to begin with circa 2008ish, have not gambled in years at this point. Something about living and breathing the gambling industry for nearly 15 years takes away the desire to participate much.

There's a difference between "playing" and "gambling". If you want to run a good affiliate site and write interesting content, you should play different games just for understanding them. But you should avoid "gambling", although it's not easy, because you just "live" inside world of gambling. I know pretty successful affiliate owners, who are real addicts and lose everything they earn playing slots...

Personally I gamble on big sports occasions. I put a few bucks on Real Madrid in the Champions League final when everyone had written them off. Got a nice 4x on that. I was also tempted to bet on Golden State during the NBA finals because all the broadcasters had written them off, but bookies still had them at 1.something odds, so it wasn't worth the risk. I'll also definitely gamble during the World Cup this year. I'll probably enjoy gambling on Argentina and Portugal as the final Cristiano vs Messi storyline comes to a close
