Question Do you plan to spend more or less time on affiliate marketing in 2024?

It is the beginning of a new year. Traditionally the time to reflect on accomplishments in the old year and set goals for the new year.

In looking at your involvement in the affiliate industry, how do your plans for the new year differ from your plans for the past year. Do your plans for the new year mean you will devote more or less time overall to the business in 2024 than you did in 2023? And do you plan to spend your time differently in the new year than you did in the past year?

We ran a similar poll in seven previous years:

Do you plan to spend more or less time on affiliate marketing in 2023?
Do you plan to spend more or less time on affiliate marketing in 2022?
Do you plan to spend more or less time on affiliate marketing in 2021?
Do you plan to spend more or less time on affiliate marketing in 2020?
Do you plan to spend more or less time on affiliate marketing in 2018?
Do you plan to spend more or less time on affiliate marketing in 2017?
Do you plan to spend more or less time on affiliate marketing in 2016?

In last year's poll 53% of those responding said they expected to spend a lot more time than they did the year before. I'm curious how that will compare with the results of this year's poll.

With the Euro2024 football championships in the summer presenting a big opportunity I expect it will be a slightly busier year overall.

Affiliate marketing is my full time job. I spend almost every day and almost all day promoting my website through SEO.

Yes, I want to spend more time on the website.
It's not my main job so improving productivity is also important to me. It's very easy to lose time on the internet.

This year for sport is very important. For example, EURO 2024, as has already been written, and there are many other events in many other sports. Hopefully the year will be fruitful and it seems to me all the more worthwhile to work more.

In the new year, I'm planning to spend more time in the affiliate industry compared to last year. The upcoming Euro 2024 and exciting games in the ECL and top 5 football Championships are big reasons for this. So I want to adapt my strategies and stay ahead. Overall, my goal is to invest more time and adjust how I work to succeed in the changing affiliate landscape in 2024.

I would definitely like to spend more time but how much more will be difficult to say. Everything will depend on the results in the process

    Hi Michael,

It's great to see that you're continuing the tradition of reflecting and setting goals in the affiliate industry at the start of a new year. This practice not only helps in assessing progress but also in aligning future strategies with evolving market trends and personal aspirations.

Given the dynamic nature of affiliate marketing, it's understandable that your approach and time commitment might change year over year. The increasing complexity and competitiveness of the industry often require affiliates to adapt and evolve their strategies.
