I was waiting for that 1!

4 games without scoring and then you decide to change it at the hawthorns.

the great escape 2 is still on the cards.

We have two threads about this topic going on now, and it has been suggested the threads be merged.

However, I think merging them would make things a little hard to follow, so instead I am going to request that subsequent posts on this topic be made in the following thread rather than in this thread:

    www.gpwa.org/forum/joining-together-operators-affiliate-programs-good-affiliates-179632.html.

If we do that, then the discussion going forward will not be split between two threads.

Just because the operators is on the list is does not mean that they will part of the Association.

Ever been on a VIP list for a club and turn up drunk, the door staff do not always let you even if your name is on the list.............

Some of the things you mention that constitute a rogue operator in your eyes, have been done by some firms listed in the 65.

As I mentioned at the GIA (1) (2) , rogues policing rogues on behalf of affiliates, because aff programmes finally realised they were getting the shaft by rogues, is far more ridiculous a concept than Ecogra being the player's friend.

Set up yet another association for gambling operators to push their point of view through no problem. Roping in affiliates, is pointless.

Why? This new assoc will give less credence to affiliate's issues, than Cap ever did.

You here as the lone gunman makes my point all made, before I've made it i'm afraid old boy.

I want to encourage everybody to remain calm. I think of this whole thread as a way to address the variety of issues that this new group will face/address. I'm sure there are many programs reading this thread (chime in or hit a thank you button in the thread) so that all of what's being said here will be considered in this upcoming meetings.

Remember that Shaun is just one of the dozens of programs in the group, he shouldn't be considered as the hero(except for dodging all these 'tomatoes') or villain here. Shaun is helping present some of the thinking behind the move to help open discussions.

Like i said earlier, i'd like to see it be a trade show only. I don't want a forum to compete with GPWA, CAP, PAL, etc. I don't want the various networks to pushed out of having some conference and social activities. Even this competes with the current conferences

Unfortunately I am unable to make CAC. However I am very interested in the outcome concerning GAP.

Personally I cannot see how it can work. But time will tell.

I am not going to CAC because you are going, any decent SPURS fan would not be seen dead in the same room as a gooner.

I rate CAP higher than a gooner, i rate Grand Prive higher than a gooner

The only good thing about a gooner is that they cry when we mention 5-1 to them.

Tell you what if you want drop me a PM and i will tell you what to expect in the Uefa cup next year

    Sounds like a great idea.

I think for Chalkie, Betpartners and I we might also need a fourm just to about football, I know some of you guys from the US dont really know what football is, so a brief overview

    22 people mostly men

    1 ball

    90 minute game

    1 pitch

    2 goals

1 aim to get the ball through the goal

Not 4 hours of men head to in pads hand slapping and grabbing each others balls.....

And it is not called Soccer....

We play great football - unlike some of the other teams who do not - but lack the skill to match the other good footballing sides.

I will be at CAC all being well and look forward to getting stick for wearing my baggies shirts!

Nice to see the Arsenal and Spurs getting on so well as usual!

What is that silly game over the pond called where a load of fools dresss up in silly costumes and shoulder pads?

    Why helmets?

Never figured it out to be honest!

    and such silly names too

Its a unisex sport playable by men and women, only criteria is to wear girls protection better known as padding lol , now rugby that is indeed a man's sport.

But we all know that Football (soccer for the uneducated) still is and will always remain the pinnacle of sports

I note Wenger banging on lately about firms like Sunderland parking the bus at the Emirates. I'm surprised he saw it.

Anyhow, I remember the gooners playing 12 men behind the ball against Man Utd in the 05 FA cup final. That day, Jens Lehman brought his invisible twin brother to play alongside him too.

I am a Ranger. QPR are usually well received (aside certain London sides), because they're not considered as a threat.

I can't see that lasting too long.

Wow. That's a pretty strong statement. Please elaborate. Do you think other operators share this view?

    Lol.

Mate you make post after post, fueling the dicussion. Then you tell everyone to calm down (they look calm to me) and you tell them to wait.

Sorry but I'm a tad amused. While your intention seem novel I think speculation bny anyone should be taken for what it is. Speculation.

I do not want to be accused of fueling it when i am just came on to help answer some of the questions and concerns that people have....

This should be interesting so these programs will be no longer hiring and paying for email spam campaigns themselves? They will also police themselves on sending out cd campaigns and cross marketing to our players and what are they willing to do to GP for stealing and killing us affiliates? Will they toss out any in the group that change terms to be predatory? Will they stop selling our player list to other operators?

    This should be interesting....
