The amount of traffic I have this month to the bgo promotion page is one of the best I had.

    Yet I feel I should have about 40 - 50 % more registrations.

And for click and stats update, 1 click yesterday and nothing to show for today...it does not update properly.

I still feel IA should go though bgobuddies and see what happened to the stats after bgo.com updated their site this month! Because I feel something is wrong after that.

As far as the filtering questions, I was making reference to the "First Time Deposits" in the Quick Stats and the "First Time Deposits" in the Earnings Report. I am not in any way, shape, or form talking about New Accounts, Active Accounts, or NDA or anything other than "Apples" to "Apples".

They should all match if they are the same thing (they are labelled the same), should they not?
Bumping this... clicks again not reporting...

I know you said "delay in sending info"... but really - why is there a delay? When there is a delay in reporting and that is combined with far lower than expected results (upon "update"), and things still seem as if they're missing... one can easily reach the conclusion that things are not working the way they should...

    Hey Shay

About the filtering, you’re 100% correct the First Deposit takes into account a player’s first deposit regardless of when the player registered. Which means the counts should not change between reports if they are displaying the same type of counts.

Just want to make sure I’m on the same page with you. The affiliate who original asked this is comparing the counts from the Home page with that in the Earnings Report correct?

Brands that use our software that will display New Depositing Accounts on the home page’s Quick Stats Report page by default while others can display First Deposits depending on the system set up.

I’ll have to take a look at the brand’s set up to properly answer this. Can you please PM me the brand in question, I’ll take a look and feedback in this thread.

The clicks and impressions should now display in the system. We were referring to the delay which affected scheduling of imports jobs for certain traffic stats.

When you say that data is lower than expected are you referring to only clicks and impressions data?

    Thanks
    Corey

    Corey,

The brand in question is Sugar Bingo. Both columns I am referring to are labelled "First Time Deposits" (in the quick report on the quick report and on the earnings report).

With respect to bgo - EVERYTHING is shorted compared to my expectations. It looks like when it was said things were working, there was a single import, then nothing further. The clicks are short and I suspect the activity related to yesterday is short as well.

Today is showing a new player (registration and first deposit) with no clicks (there were clicks) and no activity (basically implying the player deposited and then logged off). This is "possible", but considering the clicks are not reporting and the activity (from recurring players) are not showing, then I strongly suspect there's an issue with reporting as a whole. My understanding was that bgo was going to report nearly in real time. Even if they moved to daily reporting, based on the others, I imagine the clicks would still show in nearly real time and then the earnings/signups/deposits/etc fill in daily - but again, I was sure bgo reported nearly in real time.

Thanks again for looking into this and reporting back.

    Cheers,

    Shay

I am not sure, but i have feeling that stats delay for several days.

Affiliate Program: iGamingPartners.com (they use IA).
Usually "New Depositing Acc" and "Total Commission" columns updated one time every 24 hrs (other columns updated more often). But i have feeling that now "New Depositing Acc" and "Total Commission" columns update delay.

Last month i seen (one time) that "New Depositing Acc" and "Total Commission" after update show new digits for several previous days.

    Hey Shay,

Unfortunately I am not in Amsterdam at the moment. I'm holding down the fort in our Montreal Office. Also sorry about the delay, our office was closed yesterday for a statutory holiday.

I looked into Sugar Bingo. In terms of the deposit counts between the affiliate home page and the member report. I can confirm that the brand requested to rename the "New Deposit Count" on the home page quick stats report to "First Time Deposits". I can also confirm that in this instance only the column name has changed. The "First Time Deposits" column on this report will still show "New Depositing" account stats.

I will also be able to further update tomorrow in terms of the BGO clicks. Please stay tuned as I will reply in my morning.

    Cheers

    Thanks Corey.

So to clarify, despite the same names, they are in fact reporting different things, so I should not expect the numbers to be the same (on Sugar Bingo)...

I look forward to an answer tomorrow regarding bgo.

    Thanks again,

    Shay

    Hey Shay,

    My pleasure and happy Friday,

I’m a bit jealous; if you are in the UK or Europe you are a whole lot closer to the weekend then me at the moment.

As promised here’s my update on BGO’s Clicks and Impressions. Our team applied a further fix to the Clicks and impression jobs yesterday in our morning. The reports have also been displaying clicks and impressions as intended since the fix. Our team wanted to monitor these clicks and impressions jobs for a full day before confirming.

Also just wanted to clarify some of my above comments as I am realizing that I did not explicitly state this before. The clicks and impressions data was always being captured in our DB. When I discussed the scheduling of jobs above I was referring to the jobs that takes these stats from our DB and imports them into the reports into the BGO system.

    Hope that Clarifies things!

    Cheers
    Corey

With regards to Gala Bingo link change, to give you more context, as TheGooner said, “adsrv.eacdn.com” is our adserver. This is a more elevated ad serving functionality that uses a post-view capability as well as app tracking capability that was launched last year. It gives operators more insight on user behaviour and allows them to better optimise their creative and campaigns for different markets, languages, device, time of day, among some of the key benefits. This will also help affiliates access better optimised tools to help convert traffic more effectively.

With regards to the old links, they will continue to track as the disabling functionality is no longer available. When links are deactivated or made inactive, it means they will not be visible to anyone who is not using them and will continue to track on sites already published on. However, it is important to stress that you should eventually update your links, particularly so you benefit from using optimised tools and running current campaigns. Also, there is always a risk of landing urls used on old links being removed from a website, which could lead to your links breaking as inactive links are not modified.

    Corey,

I missed following up on this. I went through my Gala reports over the weekend. I cannot find one new thing (other than the links) that would help affiliates (me) access better optimised tools to help convert traffic more effectively.

Can you elaborate on this because I am at a loss as to what this means.

    Cheers,

    Shay

    Hey Shay,

Would be more than happy too.

When I wrote “This will also help affiliates access better optimised tools to help convert traffic more effectively.”

I was referring to our Ad-Serving product’s ability to support banners backed up by what we call landing page and media strategies.

Landing page and media strategies can be applied at the same time to the same banner.

These strategies can be set up by the brand’s affiliate team and will direct players to different landing pages; or display particular banner images/media based on the below criteria:

    1) Player’s Location

Brands can target players based on their country, state/province and even city.

    2) Player’s Device/Operating System

Useful directing mobile users to mobiles pages

    3) Time

This could be time of day, a particular day of the week. Or even a specific time frame. For example the time leading up to and during a particular football match

    4) Players Language

Meaning if these strategies are set up by the brand’s affiliate team. Affiliates will be able to pull one banner that will be optimised to direct mobile users to a mobile page, while at the same time directing desktop users to a desktop page. Or a banners that for English players that will display an English banner and direct them to an English landing page. While the same banner can show German players a German banner and direct them to a German landing page.

These strategies of course have to be set up by the brand’s affiliate team so I would get in touch with specific brands and inquire as if they have these banners implemented. If not, when they plan in implementing them.

Also please note that at this point our Ad-serving product is not being used by all of the brands that use our software. So again please feel free to discuss this with your affiliate managers.

Please do not hesitate to give me a shout if you have any questions

Robin Hood Bingo is missing player data (for 29 June).

Sugar Bingo data is also "not right" for 28 June (deposits) and also possibly for 29 June (for players registered on 28 June).

Separately, bgo was having "database issues" earlier today.
