I just wanted to let webzcas know how I felt about the way he handled this situation that caused my resignation from the AU, Dave to be called out for his issue, greek to be attacked by the Sucks Thugs as well as a lot of hurt feelings for others!

All of this crap could have been avoided if it was not for him being a DRAMA QUEEN by contacting me, but instead he plant the bomb and let his thug friends take over with an attack and drag it out!

He knew exactly what he was doing and I'm NOT happy about it and won't pretend to be okay with it to be because that was some real BS!

Anyway, "The Sucks Board" is a venue, not a cult. You're not going to find anywhere you go where you agree with all of the people, all of the time.

Apart from that: the problem is not just Virtual, nor is Gamtrak the only one to give this firm a chance or two.

The real problem is the amount of shenanigans pulled by various operators, on most software platforms, many times under the gaze of allegedly top notch licensing authorities such as Gibralter. Let alone Kahnawake or Costa Rica.

Players by definition need the help of webmasters, because we're online. Webmasters have always decided what's what on our behalf. Those players that disagree too loud, or too rudely etc, are marginalised. Webmasters log up these bannings and actively use it in discussions to get thier way when it suits them.

Webmasters now realise that with the likes of Grand Prive around, they're gong to need to bring on board players to get movement in the right direction.

Fighting with them on the boards when they do get loud about things, fuels the status quo. A status quo that is going to need to change at some point.

This thread just being here, is more of the same i'm afraid.

If you ask them they will confirm that I DID NOT want them on my site and refused for over a year, but due to a few other things (like the fact that I've played there without incident and never had a complain as well as giving folks a second chance) I decided to do it. After Dave & David made such a big issue ouf of it I caved in and removed them.

As far as the Sucks Board, my only desire is to NOT be the topic of disussion, but if that makes their day go better then so be it. I certainly don't read or reply to any of the stuff they post.

As far as being talked about on the Sucks board, well what can I say. You are exactly the kind of affiliate and webmaster Sucks would like to see "clean up it's act". Or get out of the business, as you are the type of webmeister that makes the industry look bad.

So, if you had known you were going to be picked by "somebody" to start up a new affiliate site you would have dumped GW in a heartbeat, right?

That would be me who started this thread and was a member of the sucks crew. Although did not visit often.

What is the difference between here and there? Good question likely because we are worlds away. But be that as it may a few got the door slammed on their fingers and its time to move forward.

Sucks is a completly different kind of a forum when issues that people are passionate about are being discussed.

Some members speak their mind and occassionally sometimes they may make comments without thinking it through (but the same thing happens here and damn near every other forum in existience) What is different about Sucks is the leeway that members are given in their posting style etc...

But to say that players have NEVER been helped is completly WRONG!!

I happen to know that The_CPA has personally helped many many players over the years, and often the player complaint that he worked on had it's roots at Sucks.

The issue of the username being changed, well that should be taken up with Nick directly.

I agree Peter, maybe a few of the posts were a bit harsh, but then again, I personally do not think any were meant as a personal attack, in fact a few people posted they thought it was too bad that the thread at Meisters as well as the idea in general went the direction it did....

Just because some of the members may or may not have supported the idea of the AU/GAU or they may not have supported specific members, does not mean they did not have the right to discuss it. The same thing happened here...just under a different style.

Again, based upon the style of the Sucks board...it was pretty close to how many threads go over there....

Look, I know not every post I make is supported and agreed to 100% and that's ok, and I know that I am often scolded and lambasted for some of the posts, but that's ok too. I will still defend your right to have your opinion and your right to post it.
