That seems really, really fast to do that. Kind of rushed with all the backlash going on.

I can only predict that it has something to do with the upcoming CM awards and one of these properties is getting an award, though I really hope I'm wrong on this one.

Can't think of any reason not to ask directly.

What's happening now is that everyone is stalling until they can go to ICE and the other one. LAC.

We have to give awards and have a nervous laugh or two about the serious situation with Betfred and Finsoft. Not a peep here about it besides those that have chosen to post here. Not a peep at AGD, not a peep at CAP.

Most importantly we have to give awards that players could care less about.

The outrage is being ignored as it has in the past, but I think it's different this time. Players are standing up and more power to them. Continue this way and all players will be flocking to US regulated casinos for a fair shot for a fair game! It doesn't seem fair for players now, does it. Rigged games for YEARS at Betfred! Are players compensated?

I find myself hoping that USA will continue to break down this industry and then build it up again to protect players. NOT affiliates. These unregulated 'traded' properties continue to show their true colors and affiliates defend them. I could care less about the money anymore after witnessing this mess.

Don't worry. Everything will be worked out at the conferences 'behind closed doors'. Trust me!

By and large i honestly feel you are right mojo. It's long past time that affiliates started showing a greater level of outrage and actually using the weight that they could potentially bring to bare to force change in the industry rather than quietly letting their partners do whatever they please and staying quiet or worse, coming out fighting to justify clear violations of licenses and more importantly ethics.

On the other hand, until the GRA release their report there really isn't much left to say. The evidence is all out there - even if all the evidence that the player brought to the thread is struck from the record, the testing and mathematical analysis by other parties is more than enough to be conclusive - so there should be hundreds of reports on this all over the internet by now, just waiting for a little tweak when the GRA eventually decide to weight in to comment on their response.

Long time affys have learned the hard way that herding cats is far easier than getting affys to agree on taking action...
and the new people either don't understand what is at stake or just don't care.

Besides at what level should affys start taking action... After programs/casinos have publicly ripped off affiliates and players... been done(several times) and no group of affys have taken any collective action...
For the most part the offending programs/casinos are still running and still have affiliates promoting them... no names... but you know who you are...

Don't expect anything to happen about this, at least in public.
The powers that be, keep things like this as low key as possible.
Even the idea that well branded online casinos can(and do) cheat is a verboten subject to discuss, in public.

Really glad to see Betfred has been taken off the Accred section at CM. Kudos to CM and all involved. Restoring some faith.

Not sure about the GRA since my understanding is that they have not had to deal with anything like this before. Jury's out and whatever they come back with I feel will set a precedent on what to expect from the GRA.

    Sorry Mojo, but:

Why do you think he removed them for the, what? - fourth time now? To do the "right thing", or a mangled attempt to look less hopelessly corrupt and beyond caring?

To add that the LAC is approaching, and Bailey will be strutting his stuff in one of his promotional sessions, "the player's mind" or whatever. I'd be keen to attend and raise this issue or others related, but I won't be doing a solo, so if anyone wants to team up with me, please say so, PM or whatever, and we can hook up.

OK, I'll take the answer to my question to be "the latter", and that your faith in Mein Host is no longer "somewhat restored".

He doesn't have to do much to have the fans flocking back to the fold, does he?

FYI, the company with the "rigged" software, SPIELO International, is at the ICE, stand S7-150, on the back wall moreorless in the middle. Stop by for a nice, cosy chat - I might see you there.

Caruso, I'd love to share a beer with you at some point. Think we'd either love each other or kill each other. I'm not at this LAC but maybe the next one.

Wish someone had told me ICE was at Excel, not Earl's Court - I ended up tracking right the way across bleedin' London. Whose daft idea was it to change the venue?

    More likely, kill.

I've got some evidence proving that BetFred knew about this discrepancy fully five years ago, and did nothing. It wouldn't "stand up in court", but it's genuine. I've sent it to a journalist (I think US-based) who's investigating the matter. If it comes out in the US press, it might well ***** Lotomattica's Nevada license bubble.

Oh yes, and it'll also work against the coverup Bailey is currently doing his best to pull. His resident elves can feel free to pass that on to him.

Also, I was talking to Anthony and Vin about this at LAC. Vin asked about the testing houses, which I've clarified in a second article I did yesterday. I think it, and my earlier one, covers most regulatory aspects.

Can you believe this tooL? I'm told this has recently been circulated in a newsletter, plainly directed at me - he says "small group" because I'd invited people, both here and elsewhere, to come along:

Quote Originally Posted by Bryan Bailey
I was also moderating a panel discussion late that morning, and I was especially looking forward to that. Not just because of the intriguing and highly informative topic - "Inside Players' Minds", but because there was rumor of a small group of forum trolls who were planning to highjack the discussion with their misguided and ill-informed agenda laden bullshit.

I was ready for a verbal throw down, but alas, I was dissapointed - they were either no-shows, or cowering in the back row somewhere too chicken-**** to confront me in person. But this is typical for forum nobodies - these trolls. Their importance to the affiliate community and gaming industry is bloated in their tiny heads. Talk is cheap. And as expected - it was all bluster. Fine - that's one less bug to squash.

I base the following on the assumption that the above is a correct quote.

In the first place, can we be clear that Bailey's conference marketing sessions, his pitches to operators to get them on his site and paying the big advertising rates, are just that. He knows, and cares, about as much about what is actually "in the players' minds" as the current Prime Minister of Costa Rica. His decision to keep BetFred on his "accredited" list for so long is just one recent example. The fact that the admin agree to let him run his marketing pitches at the LAC is disappointing, but that's their business and I've no fight with them about it. Some big people in the business have really had their eyes opened about him after this episode (no, I can't name names).

In the second place, I had said I "wanted to put the BetFred issue in the public domain", or words to that effect. Did such a fair objective warrant that tirade of abuse? "Forum troll", excuse me? Do you know how many of these events I've been to, from pretty much the same time he's been going? Can you believe that?

In the third place, I'd already stated I couldn't get into a morning session. I had assumed he was doing it after 2pm when he's done it the last two years. OK, I didn't check the schedule - hang me for it.

Bailey, if you're going to take those pops at me - and they were unquestionably so - then do it where I can respond. You can respond on ALL forums I have access to. So the irony of accusing me of "chicken **** bluster", when you hide behind the cloak of your newsletter and have me barred on your forum, is there for the world to see.

Oh, and in case I haven't mentioned it: I have proof, 99.9999% certain, that BetFred knew about their cheating software in 2008. I don't have the actual email in question so I have to leave 0.00001% of doubt, but I am without question myself that what I've seen conclusively demonstrates that they knew. I've offered it to the media outlet who will eventually be reporting on the matter, and I hope to get hold of the email at some point.

I've noticed this pattern at CM a lot with the insults. They will ban someone and say 'banned because they are a douchebag' or something. That happened at CAP. Look what happened there. CM needs to understand that can happen to them to if people are fed up enough. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

To call caruso a troll and chicken **** and all of that has put CM on the same level as CAP along with insulting tags on people they ban. I understand banning but do we need to go to that level? Douchbag. Among others. Pfffft.

Everyone is waiting for the GRA to come back with their findings. And yes, I have heard this has had a worldwide negitive effect on CM. Therefore it would make sense to work together but that is obviously not going to happen. Even if Betfred comes back clear, CM has taken it to a new level with this blog degrading and insulting anyone who questions.

It would probably be a good idea to stop calling concerned active citizens of this industry 'trolls'. No one is buying that line of BS. It's designed to create disdain but it's not working that way. It only confirms the desparate control attempts. If an 'agenda' means getting to the truth then rock on agenda's. It's quite obvious, this smoke screen. Strange word.. agenda. And how it's thrown around.

This will unfold and the truth will come out and it's because of the perseverance seen here.

I haven't been a fan of Betfred for some time. I've found their program to be uncompetitive and their affiliate staff to be arrogant, not people I care to work with. Hosting rigged games, and their ongoing silence on this issue, is an enormous cherry on top of many reasons why I would rather not associate myself or our visitors with Betfred.

    .

Since we work with numerous brands that partner with Casinomeister, I state definitively that he works on pure rev-share deals on the low end of the industry average.
