Do you gamble?

I have a huge passion for casino slots, mostly because I have worked with it so much and playing slots online with my own money is not only fun but also educating for my interest really!

For the ones of you who play poker, is this really nice to play still even though the online poker world has been over-run with probability tools?

**ALEXRAW** · 16 January 2016, 2:10 pm

Yes, I love to play at online casinos, especially slot machines

If everyone has the same tools, then you still win out on skill [if you can beat the rake]. It's relatively easy to pick apart individual players who rely too much on those tools as well.

A little bit, I like to play video slots. My favorites are; Double Diamond and Bruce Lee

I agree with you, but with the tools in the game, doesnt the game become much more about RnG than skill? I mean, I understand that you can still have a higher than 100% return, but it still requires lot more grinding since that percentage is decreased by the fact that everyone uses probability tools.

Correct me if im wrong, im not really that into poker

Cheers!

I mostly gamble in sports betting

**PROFRBcom** · 1 February 2016, 12:02 pm

I play online poker 20-40 hours per week. I am a winning player however and have been for 13 years. In fact, that is how I got into the affiliate business, from being a high stakes poker player and getting to know the management at online poker sites.

As a winning poker player however, I don't consider it gambling. It's a business like anything else. I don't gamble as a rule of thumb. Once every couple years I have to sit down at a blackjack table with some potential client/supplier/manager/etc and at those times I bet the minimum and play as close to "basic strategy" as I can recall from years past when I learned it for kicks.

I bet on sports once or twice a week just to make sure I'm up to date.

**bene2050** · 9 February 2016, 5:20 am

i do like play bets, but i do not gamble.

**chrisjopher** · 9 February 2016, 10:00 am

I like arbs and matched betting, and a bit of Poker. Neither of which are pure gambling ...

In order to gamble, you haft to know what you're doing. If you don't, you could end up loosing it all..

**TradaCasino** · 18 February 2016, 6:48 am

I gamble a little on slots, never table games/sports. It's something that never interested me before starting in the industry but I think it's a great way to keep your finger on the pulse of player needs/experiences etc. Plus I really enjoy it.

I think it's useful if you're in the industry to gamble at least once a month, even just with 10 quid (whether you enjoy it or not!). It's hard to understand the true frustration of slow payments, lagging games, bad support etc. unless you've experience with your own real cash, it helps us learn more about the player life-cycle, what they need and how to make them happy.

I am honestly surprised that a majority of voters report they gamble less than once a month or not at all. Gambling is, of course, a personal choice. But I would find it difficult to set up a website and participate in an industry if I didn't have first-hand knowledge of the casinos, the games, the bonuses, etc. If I didn't have an honest and deep passion for the games I don't think I could run an effective site to promote them. That's just me
