Statsremote?

Thanks for clarifying .. but can you assure that the software is not 'phoning home'?
Maybe it's just me but I'm not comfortable with using tools like Statsremote, ADGE or Statspull. To each it's own I guess

at last time, we talked with many of ex stats remote users and we met a lot of wonderful people from gambling segment. We have prepared a new version Nifty Stats, where we add a lot to your requirements. When everything is ready will let you know.

How can I cancel a subscription? I can not see any option in the billing settings page when logged in.

Are you working on the "Analytics" part of your product? When logged in it says it should be finished 2015. Are you still maintaining your Adge product? If, so it would be great with an update on what to expect from the products. All information on your website kind of indicate that nothing has happened in the last 2 years, no blog posts etc. Great if you could come back to the community with an update.

Charles here from KAX Media/Gambling.com/Adge.com. Very strange what is going on with statsremote but we had nothing to do with it. I hope Neil is OK.

Just to address a few Adge related comments -

RE: Price - We've invested at least 1M EUR in the technology behind Adge and are investing more than ever at the moment. It is expensive because the technology behind it is substantial, complex and expensive to produce. We are affiliates and built it first and foremost for ourselves. The idea to open it up to affiliate competition was driven by the pain of trying to integrate this data. If we have a good solution to the problem then it would be the right thing to do to make the solution available to the rest of the affiliate community. But we can't do it for free as we have to justify the support staff and incremental cost to run a public facing service instead of a purely internal one.

For the smallest of affiliates I can appreciate that 49 EUR a month may be too much. But for anyone taking their affiliate business seriously they should value their time and see that 49 EUR a month is 1/4 of a single decent European Casino CPA. If the time saved by using Adge helped them only produce one quarter of a single additional casino player per month it would be paid for. It saves us enormous time which has been channeled back into driving traffic, substantially growing the affiliate side of our business.

RE: Data - Yes, it is technically feasible for our support staff to view the data. Key to our higher service level than statsremote is the fact that the data is curated by real humans in addition to all the technical automation. If the support people can't see the problems they cannot fix the problems. Use of the data is strictly limited by the terms of use which have not changed since we first published them. The only time non-support or non-technical staff have seen Adge client data is when the privacy has been waived by the client in situations like due diligence for an acquisition.

RE: Integrations - We have over 1,000 including all Netrefer, Incomeaccess and Myaffiliates. Its the weird one-off ones that we tend not to have, particularly anything that would be US-facing (we do not touch US traffic). If you need one, and it runs on mainstream software, just ask and we should be able to get it up and running quickly. If you need a weird one-off one, ask anyways and if we have enough demand we will do it.

"Planned operators" are still planned, the half of my 15 programs had to add the support because i got error messages.
The "traffic analyser" should be online 2015 ...

Here is how to bypass the expired certificate and open statsremote...you need to download the certificate and import it into your java keystore...

download the certificate with openssl

openssl s_client -connect secure.statsremote.com:443 > certfile.txt

open certfile.txt and only keep the -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- to -----END CERTIFICATE----- and save again

now find your java home directory and your cacerts keystore file

keytool -import -alias statsremote -keystore "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_66\lib\security\cacerts" -file C:\statsremote\certfile.txt

it will ask you for your keystore password


Enter Keystore Password: changeit

Trust this certificate? [no]: yes

Certificate was added to keystore


now you should be able to open statsremote and load your stats.


I'm not sure what happened to statsremote, but after multiple attempts to contact with no luck. I really hope that he is alright, I hope that by writing this...it might help keep this program alive. It really is a great program, well worth the money i've spent on it over the years.

I first tried to import the certificate into my java settings gui, and add secure.statremote.com to the exempt sites list. Then i tried setting my clock back, and i was able to open the program but it thought it was jan 5th or whatever....after i set my clock back i was still getting cert errors.

Anyways I hope this helps people, I really hope that statsremote shows signs of life. It would probably be smart to start moving over to Nifty Stats. I just downloaded it the other day, seems like the obvious replacement. I work mostly in adult, and it seemed like a pretty decent success rate and has some interesting new features. I just started using it, but if you haven't signed up yet
