I use a windows vps with amazon ec2 to run nifty stats. It's setup to email me new sales and a daily reports. Works very well.

I've been very impressed with Nifty stats... very quick replies to email inquiries... program works well... takes a bit to get used to it. Neat features like the daily reports via email. Not all my brands are available yet... but will continue the trial and see about a subscription in Feb.

I'm sure it does, but it's 2017 and any program worth buying should have native support for Mac

In the same boat as everyone else. Long term user of SR, real shame to see it go and hope all is ok with Neil.
Have been testing Nifty for a week or so and I must say support is extremely responsive. They've added probably a dozen networks for me already and fixed anything that was having issues. For anyone in doubt because of the availability of specific aff networks I suggest you sign up and request them. Paul is literally adding and updating the software multiple times per day.

Yeah gotta agree, they're really on the ball. Finally jacked in stats remote in the last couple of days and they are adding all the new programs I ask and even providing some insights for me into how the affiliate back-ends work. Still, fingers crossed for Neil.

Yes, I'm also getting as many as possible set up on Nifty whilst I can still use StatsRemote (with the work-around) although I suspect that this will not be an option once the statsremote domain expires later this month (2017-01-27).

I've also been very impressed with Nifty so far in updating those that weren't quite working correctly before. I am concentrating on getting the most important value affiliate sites added/working first (these are mostly done - just awaiting on a few more to be added although I suspect they have quite a lot queued up from us all now)

Paul @ Nifty has been very responsive in getting everything fixed including the ignoring negatives from the total income

Of course, I'm hoping to hear that Neil / the statsremote crew are OK but well, business must continue and I'll be switching over to Nifty at the end of the trial period if everything continue well

On the positive side, it's actually also made me more closely review some of the "lesser or long time zeroes" affiliate groups that I was still showing banners for So business should be better in future too (fingers crossed)

They just started in on it, nailed a few of the top software providers so far, no GUI as of yet to see but its looking good.

Yes, here's another shout for Nifty. It has some issues that will need working through, but so far Paul has been doing a good job, and I'm getting the data I need. I'm running it on a Mac via Parallels (which I have anyway for website checking) and it works fine for me.

I am saddened to see stats remote fail, but at least everyone's data was safe as it was stored locally, and was never provided to stats remote owners.

No matter how good intentions of ANY OTHER program, person or entity trying to fill the void with a replacement, no way would I EVER want to risk my affiliate program's usernames and passwords to any cloud service, or program, external server location anywhere.

Imagine if said program fails, etc etc etc...they have usernames and password data for ALL clients, in addition to the hacking risk.

I finally cancelled my SR subscription today, had been hanging on in the hope of a Neil reemergence. It's pretty obvious by now, something is seriously wrong with him - I hope he is okay, wherever he is.

model we are working with authenticates directly with your desktop, then shoots the html to the cloud service, this is just raw html from the stats page so all your personal data is only used locally and encrypted. The only issue with that is when it sends to a non hhtps affiliate site the transaction there is not encrypted but its the same as you logging in from your pc... hope that makes sense.
