Ideally someone needs to take over Statsremote and bring it back online. First step is to find out what's happened to Neil.

Would you trust someone to maintain in the future after they left the ship like this in the first place? Time to look for alternatives I think.
Depends who took over it and/or if there was a good explanation for what happened.
Not sure if anyone is interested... I found the following people also associated with the same company Network 24/7 Ltd
which listed Johannes Becker altho is shows inactive since 2003... https://www.company-intel.ie/company...247-ltd#people
Sure would be nice to have some answers ...

I got never an answer on email or seconds call!... Oren you mentioned the address and i´ve checked with Google Streetview!
Among other there is a Agenki GmbH tagged!
At their legal pages agenki.de/impressum.php i found the name "Johannes Becker"!
Same address like Network247 GmbH and same CEO
I called Agenki GmbH and asked for Mr. Becker ...
He was not available but a friendly lady promised me to forward an email if i send!
I did for sure!
So lets hope she will forward the email like promised and he will answer to me!

Sadly cancelled my subscription today, one almost has to assume Neil was a one man show and is either very ill, dead, or in jail. Can't imagine any other explanation at this point!
Adge is a no go for obvious reasons and I won't bother with nifty stats because it's 2017 and nobody runs emulators anymore, no mac or mobile product = not getting my business.
Hopefully someone steps up with a viable long term solution because this sucks!

I've just escalated my Paypal dispute .. asking for a refund for the subscription. I feel bad for those who paid for a year subscription. I hope everyone can get refunded.

Amazing how much we relied on such a program. I continue to be surprised at the lack of professionalism of some organizations/associations in keeping people informed. There continues to be no information posted on the website that leaves everyone hanging. Either tell us things will be fixed or tell us it is shut down and we are out of luck but tell us something. This lack of information is unacceptable and can only hurt the reputation involved with the organization later.

StatsDrone now offers Freemium plan to connect up to 30 programs - FREE!. Pilot runs until August 31, 2025.
That's the trouble with one man (or woman) shows, it doesn't really amount to an organisation and if something happens to that person - abducted by aliens, memory loss, spiritual awakening, death etc - then it leaves everything up in the air like this. As a one man show myself this has kind of made me realise that I need to set something up in case something happens to me - wouldn't want my millions of visitors to suddenly find the website was not updating with fresh and exciting bonus news!

Same for me, trying to contact StatsRemote for 2 month already![]()
This is so weird. Great product, great service, nice guy...at this point I hope he's okay. Nothing else makes sense other than something bad happened...
Agreed. I don't believe that this has failed due to financial reasons as the development costs would have been mostly sunk years ago, and he seemed the type of guy to keep people informed of what was going on. It doesn't look good to me in terms of his health or wellbeing.
Over the past 3 years we've had to move web host twice: first time the owner died and though it wasn't a one man show he must have been pretty key so they folded, but at least they gave us a week's notification. Then the one we moved to folded a year later without telling anyone until their sites went down and only a public shaming campaign and online harassment of the owner from angry customers resulted in backups being brought back online for 24 hours. So now we do our own thing.
So I'm sadly used to this and more and more seeing the value in not relying on smaller 3rd parties for key business infrastructure.

Just a little note to let you know that in the interest of protecting your affiliate data, we've temporarily suspended access for Statsremote to the Cherryaffiliates backoffice. If it’s fixed we’ll open it back up ASAP.
In the meantime if you need to log in manually and have forgotten your details, drop me a PM.

For those of us stricken by this event, do not forget to go to PayPal and cancel the subscription if you used it as a payment method. Who knows if the remaining days of the software will trigger payments.

Hey all,
I only found this topic yesterday after wondering why StatsRemote wasn't working and thinking about not having any updates for quite a while.
I also tried to contact them via email and my email was returned as "user out of allocated disk space" or something so obviously nobody is monitoring it.
Obviously I hope that Neil is OK. I remember meeting both him and Johannes many years back at a Casino Affiliate Conference and they were great. Most of the communications I had over the past few years have been with Neil and like others said - he was always so quick responding - so it is very worrying.
I would have thought that if they were intending to shut-down the service they would have announced it before doing so - again very out of character.
I have been relying on this for over 10 years now and feel very lost without it. I really hope that the guys are OK and that they will get back to it soon but for now, like many of us I guess - must look for alternatives and so far the Nifty program looks about the closest there is.
I share concerns about passwords whilst being stored locally, might not be secure although I'm thinking just in case anything untoward did happen - that our affiliate program partners would assist in ensuring the correct ownership is maintained.
I have been using Nifty for a couple of days and adding a few programs and slowly requesting addition of those that aren't there yet, as well as reporting any that do not appear to be working fully. So far, responses have been very quick and updates happen more than once per week (although that was never a problem).
For me, also the default settings of showing 'Today' upon launch is a bit annoying but I guess it's only an extra click at the beginning.
The difference column for me is the main one that I miss (particularly for earnings) as that was VERY useful. So, jowel - if you are reading this - it would be really great if you had a column that shows "difference" (since the last download) for every program - if that were possible please![]()
I will continue my free trial and then see how things are at the end of that.
The login to the browser is not quite as smooth as StatsRemote and I think it only opens via IE and updates seem to take a bit longer - but as it's more of a background thing the time it takes doesn't matter so much - it saves doing it all manually.
The monthly fee I believe is about the same as StatsRemote so that's not an issue at all - but of course it would be nice to have the extra features that StatsRemote had![]()
I have cancelled my StatsRemote subscription also as of course nobody wants to be charged for a non-working service.
Anyway, hope that Neil and any other team members are OK!
