    Default 777 stealing content

Just thought I would let everyone know we have another unethical A-hole amongst us.

Content stolen from Casinomeister by the owner of 777...

    xxxhttp://www.777-online-gambling.net/wordpress/blacklisted-casinos/

    xxxhttp://www.casinomeister.com/rogue/index.php

The person behind this theft is a member here and at CasinoMeister.

Some of you might want to check and see if your content has been stolen as well...

Thanks for the warning lotso. We always need to know with more eyes and ears out there.

This is a reputable webmaster that I would personally 100% vouch for without a doubt. I don't think it was intentional but I don't see a link back to casinomeister. I think a lot of webmasters reference CM but I think there should be a link back or permission. I am not sure on Brians policies.

I have zero concerns whatsoever that this webmaster would intentionally steal from members here.

Again, thanks lotso. Maybe we could find out what CM policy is on this. I've seen this before too.

This is a very active member here and as you said a member of Casino Meister, APCW and GPWA.....

I do not think they intentionally are trying to steal content. It looks as if they saw all your blacklisted sites and decided to list them all as you have.

Perhaps they wanted to list and used you as a source. They should probably put a note that says "taken from casinomeister"

    Did you try emailing them??

To call a member here an A hole, i think is a bit over the top. If after you contacted them and they didn't add source.. then maybe...

    Have you asked them???

I do know they have been here a long time and post a ton.. so i find it hard to beleive they are trying to be unethical.... probably an honest mistake..

Hopefully you guys work it out.

    Steve

Just because they are 'active' in this forum does not make them 'honest' or 'ethical'.

The theft is obvious and there is more... just take a close look at his little spam network.

mojo, sorry but I gotta disagree with you on this.

Hmmm.... Well I guess it's a good thing you don't know what I am talking about (means your not a spammer).

Sorry, I don't really have time for a education session on spam networks right now.

I think any experienced webmaster or SEO that competes in any highly competitive area knows exactly what I am talking about when I say "spam network'.

That's cool and I know you wouldn't be here if you didn't have concerns.

Looking quickly, the only copying I see is casino marketing material (ie: new game) which is ok and some press releases. No content theft from other websites that I can see.

I'm not sure what you mean on the spam network.

spam network = a network of different domains and 3rd level domains that are all interlinked in an effort to manipulate search results.

This search on google might open your eyes a little ["777 online gambling inc"]... and that is just scratching the surface...
please include the quotes, but do not include the brackets in the search.

BTW - the stolen page from Casinomeister... the code was copied and pasted with the CSS stripped out.... How could this NOT be intentional?

Thanks CityGuard and GFPC for letting me know about this thread. I've already contacted Bryan, and he told me "Not a problem. next time please ask". Ok, I have never copied any content from other sites, and lots0, you must appologies for your words, because it's really unethetical from your side. I don't know why you are so angry at me. I even don't know you. If you don't mind please, tell me who you are and how may I know you.

Yes, I took a black list of casinos from Bryan's site, but as I remember we had a discussion at GPWA, where webmasters told that this blacklist was one of the best. And I know most webmasters copy this list, because it's impossible to rewrite the list of casinos, it's not a text, it's a list of casinos, and moreover rogue casinos. Now I add new rogue casinos to this list and now it's not identical to CasinoMeister's black list.

But I respect Bryan's work and even he didn't ask me to add a link to his blacklist page, I've done it and added this link to my page.

Aksana is a honest and reputable webmaster, I think she didn't intentionally want to do any harm by using that list, sorry lots0 but there are no doubts by my side.

Don't stress over this aksana, but consider it a lesson learned.

Anyone that knows you know that it was an honest error in judgement. IMO a backlink should always accompany any content used from any site, not just Casinomeister, in order to avoid any future 'over the top' accusations.

    Sure dude

Is knows sometimes as "link spam" and other names but bottom line, they have like 14,000 pages

    See here

    Code:
    http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=http%3A%2F%2F777-online-gambling.net&bwmf=u&bwms=p&fr=yfp-t-501&fr2=seo-rd-se
    so you have

    www.domain.com
    en.domain.com
    es.domain.com
    fr.domain.com
    aa.domain.com
    etc etc etc

and the engines see you as huge. I myself have done this a lot of times in the past, but with some twists. Also having a crazy directory structure, also giving you a ton of content

    see

    Code:
    http://www.google.com/search?q=link:777-online-gambling.net&hl=en&start=10&sa=N
    and go to page 2

Again, i do not see this link strat as bad as others do, but if google feels this is only for search engines and not made for easy navigation, you can get hit

PS, not all this is from their own site, only like 4 links form the outside world.

This is not like refferer spam etc

Yes a content thief and link spammer.
I say it again. And the PROOF is there for anyone to see.

There is also a direct connection between the old 888 spammers and 777.

Not just the fact that 777 promote 888 almost exclusively... But the way they spam is almost identical to the way 888 used to spam...

Also those of you that think that this 777 network is run by ONLY one woman is not familiar with running a network.

No, it's unbelievable!!! I even don't know what to say...

Ok, if I'm a spammer (I even don't know how to do that), please, prove it.

And yes, almost nobody believe that 777-online-gambling.net is run only by me, but it's true. It's very very difficult, I work 10-12 hours a day but yes, I run my site by myself, and nobody helps me, even my husband, early he helped me to submit this site to the directories, but now I don't see any sense in this work. He has own biz.

Regarding 888.com, I do not promote them exlusively. They are only in my directory of casinos like in other big casino directories.

So, please, calm down and if you have real facts please provide me with them, because really your attack is very very strange for me.
