I will miss Allan a lot - I will miss the late night chats we had. He was one of the true gentlemen in the industry, no.. one of the true gentlemen of all walks of life! An honest genuine person that will be sorely missed.

I would just like to ask all the praying members to join me in saying a little prayer for the friends and family involved in this tragic passing of a very caring person. I did not know him personally but I can only imagine what it would be like to lose such a brilliant smile.
It is going to be very difficult for everyone who knew him for a while and I am sure they could use all the prayers they can get.
RIP Allan and I hope that you are in a better place filled with happiness and that your daughter is with you.

I will miss you Allan! I'll never forget what a kind and wonderful person you were as well as an awesome friend! Rest in peace & sing with the angels! Love you always and we will be there for Patty, Melissa & the family.
Alan was one of the older timers and started when this industry was in its infancy. Always positive, he'd help anyone if asked.
In over 10 years I can't recall a bad word said against him, he was just that type of guy, you know, friendly to everyone.
So to find out that he's passed is a shock.
I'd like to offer my sincere condolences to Patty, Melissa and family.
Now back with your daughter, RIP mate.
You will be sadly missed by all.
David
Im so sorry to hear this. Allan was a real character and he will be sadly missed both in the industry and amongst his family and many friends. RIP Allan
I will never forget the first time I met Allan and Patty in Vegas, he took me under his wing and taught me the in and outs of this industry. Allan always cheered me up when I was down by sending me fabulous songs to listen to. You will be missed so much Cappy! My heart goes out to Patty and Melissa you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hi Alan,
I find myself staring at these threads each morning with an empty feeling in my stomach. It's hard to believe that such an animated and wonderful person has left the community. I guess I watch the thread to see all the older affiliates I've been in contact with over the years together in one thread again. I've only met a handful in person.
So Alan, thanks for bringing us together again for a little moment of ... clarity, perspective, love and some form of unity... we need it.
Captain would want us to all get along going forward. He would tell us not to worry about the little stuff and keep doing our best. Honor the Captain by keeping your own life in perspective and loving everyone around you.
We're all right behind you Alan!
Thanks for all the support over the years!!
- Your friend, Bernie

Shocking and sad news for sure. I had the pleasure of meeting Allan and his wife Patty in Belize a couple of years ago. He was such a funny, kind, intelligent and crazy person - he made a lasting impression with his wonderful character. I will never forget him. I will always remember him standing on the top of an Inca pyramid shouting after he had climbed the hundreds of steps straight to the top. My condolences to the family. Rest in peace Allan.
This is terrible news - my thoughts go out to his family.
I haven't been to the forums for a week or 2 and decided to catchup on all the news today. This was most certainly some news I wished I had not read!!
Although I never met Allan personally, I felt like I knew him so well as he was one of the 1st people I met on GPWA years ago.
He was a breath of fresh air and I always remember having a giggle at all his late night songs he used to post one after another.
He will be sorely missed and my sincere condolences to all his family and friends
