I never assume anything - I collect evidence/specifics about a specific situation; consider historical facts, and then develop an educated opinion.

Regarding the APCW/AU issue; as I stated its something that I am not pursuing. I have not and will not present any opinion on the matter.

I sincerly wish this venture the best of luck. I hope that they can recover and prosper regardless of any hostile directives real or otherwise.

To those of you have requested information, I will get it out to you within the hour.

Again we all seem to share something in common. J.Todd has been played around with more than once. Arkyt it is true you were tagged undesirable by Lou any mention of iGami was forbidden. Countless others have been slapped around pretty good. I agree but unless we put this behind us where are we going?

Oh yes I see the big picture been living it for a while now. But be that as it may, and forgive me, the ones who can truly represent affiliate is affiliates. Every affiliate I suppose is welcome as equals leave the super egos at the door. It will provide a good platform where in time of crisis we can all come together.

And Jack sincerely this has nothing to do with this thread. Be quick and snatch this domain suemybully.com. With the ever-growing expansion of social networks cyber bullying lawsuits are on a steep incline I can only see it getting worse. A dirt-cheap domain but one that IMO has some real earning potential.

Mojo, Chalkie, Dave (if possible) just do it. I will travel to Holland then South Africa if the need arises start knocking on some doors lol.

Excellent points, sir! That is why I put aside my differences with Caruso and met him in Budapest. That's why I extended this offer to Mr Arkyt when he first appeared in the thread:

"If he wants to offer someting... to help solve our issues... by all means let's hear it."

It was sincere and still stands. The APCW and GPWA are doing our best using the methods we know how to use. If anyone has better ideas, they are 100% welcome to contribute. What I don't want is to see anyone come in here with nothing to offer, distract us from our goals, and cause division. Either contribute in a constructive way or get the #### out.

Im here in the middle of nowhere on hols half shot, no tv gf asleep ****** internet cant stream last nights ufc so thought id just chip in a lil although my thoughts arent worth much.. GPWA is a place for webmatsers to chat and get deals from programs and srt some problems. APCW is mainly an industry news trying to brig up topics (sry have only seen a few vids).

I was and still am personally affected by the tusk thing that went down but really nothing happened then just recently eurolinx went down, i didnt play there but was mad as you can imagine so thinking there is a few big americian players up in this something might happen... well not much did I took microgaming sites off of my sites (not that it will make a difference I dont make money yet).. after that weekend one of the affiliate sites i frequent used to have linxs had unibet up in the showcase part.. Instantly as a new affiliate I learned leave feelings out of it its about the $ if a big guy is doing that to cash in why cant I promote them.

Change them/yourselves and you might change the people that learn from you. GPWA included.

Here we have almost 250 posts and almost 8000 views.

How much of that has to do with the potential au/gau? Not all that much I think.

I believe it's a reflection on how serious our problems are and how unsatisfied with the way things work. For a very long time now. It seems to be getting worse every single day.

So if some look at this thread as a joke or an example of why we can't get together I will challenge that. I will say it's the reason why we need to get together. We have a lot on our chests!

Why some of us trying to add additional resouces (NOT a forum and not taking away from any other organization) would be a bad thing I am still not clear. The original idea is not a forum and connot possibly 'fragment' affiliates. GPWA is my home, that won't change. No one has to change anything.

    I don't get it.

Am I the only one who thinks this thread has gone past silly. I mean 25 pages!!!

Ive skipped the last 6 because I just cant read anymore...very little in the 5 before that's even productive..more mud slinging than anything.

Can I suggest something for those who are interested in helping Mo and Paul (thats if they want to do this,,since its still early stages)

Start a new thread with questions (only) that affiliates feel are important for the AU/GAU.

I think it would help Mo and Paul with the leg work and be able to give them ideas on what affiliates are looking for. From there they can work on possible solutions when the AU/GAU is released.

    Just a thought.

This is getting way over anything that i ever invisaged!

All involved with the union have never wanted to bring any other organisation in to disrepute!

It is sickening to me to see this thread erupt in to a very non productive slanging match.

If someone wants to start a thread asking questions and making points, then please feel free to do so for me, both myself and Paula will answer any questions with regard to ourselves and what we are aiming to achieve!

I have to say, however, that you will likely not get much response out of me for the near future as, in normal Chalkie fashion, i have a crisis on again!

My youngest grandaughter has been rushed in to hospital now and sorry, however, whatever goes on other than this is irrelevant to me until this is resolved!

Fasinating thread, from what I've been able to read in a few minutes.
As some of you know, I've had to restart my "Real World" business due to to the crush of UIEGA, and Providers pulling out of the U.S. Market.
I'm still very optimistic, however, that doesn't pay the bills, so we all have to do what it takes to survive.

That's why we are having so many conflicts right now. The Casinos and Programs are also trying to surive,.....sometimes at the expense of the affiliates that have supported them for years.

I'll have some comments once I have time to read this thread properly, but for openers, the APCW and the GPWA essentially became one in the same when the GPWA saved the APCW by buying them out and giving them new life with adequate funding.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but I am saying that ultimate decisions in the GPWA and APCW still boil down to one final commercial entity that clearly is for profit, and not necessarily,.... or always coordinated in the best interest of affiliates.

Enough for now until I can read this monster thru!

Default boycotts don't work, but remember to tell the players not to play ar Grand Prive

If webmasters want players to support them when it comes to the likes of Grand Prive robbing them, why do webmasters defend and promote firms that rob the players?

"I've had no complaints from my players", is no defense. It's a burglars charter.

I can't tell if the AU is player focused. What I do know, is that anything affiliate focused, is ultimately going to need the support of a lot of players to work.

You'd have Grand Prive over a barrell if webmasters could call a player based boycott.

Q: Would enough webmasters take the time to place an immediate player boycott request, above the fold, across the board?

Are my type of questions welcome at the AU/GAU?

    cheers.

Not only will the AU not have player support, it won't even have affiliate support.

Not only do player issues not have affiliate support, they don't have player support.

As long as there is money to be made, that will always be the overriding consideration. If an affiliate can cream a few short-term dollars with some rogue banners, they'll never pull them in defence of a "cause" - reference Gamtrak. If a player finds a good bonus or a good rakeback deal, they'll never answer the call to boycott - reference Eurolinx. Hence, affies and players get ****** over, scream blue murder and claim it's not their fault. Then, next day they're back chasing the easy dollar. Rinse & repeat.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Nick. It's a pity the GIA couldn't have taken off - it offered as much and more than the proposed AU. But again, leader of the pack, I'm in charge, splinter splinter splinter, everyone's back working for themselves whilst claiming they're selflessly working for everyone else.

It's more than that, it's total bull. How many players know which freaking affiliate site they signed up through? How many players even know what an "affiliate site" is?

    FF's sake.
